neither would you be if your best defender and arguably most consistent player (ronaldo takes all the headlines but ferdinand is just as important) was missing for the big game
if he was playing i dont think we would have a problem, but without him it will be quite a bit more difficult

But you never know what rotation Benitez is going to pull out of his hat, if he makes any changes.

rio will be a huge loss but i imagine fergie will now play a 4-3-3. carrick n hargreaves both droppin back for cover with carrick roaming forward a bit, scholes r anderson as the other, more attacking midfielder n rooney, tevez, ronaldo up front

SAF will play a traditional 4 4 2 O'shea to play at right back. Fletcher to start alongside carrick. He plays well in big games and fergie seems to be confident with him. if not scholes to play alongside carrick. Giggs to return. and ronaldo on the right. and tevez and rooney up front

man utd vs liverpool is usually more exciting than most top of the table clashes. hopefully that will stay the same. If they both play their styles and not let the pressure get to them than it will be a cracker game. Hopefully someone scores in the first half to make it a better game.

if we can beat inter mila at the san siro (which is more intimidating than old trafford) then i think we have a great chance

Besides, don't expect a red card against Man Utd.
