Default Why do you...

Why do you support the team you do? i know loads of americans who support man utd for no bluddy reason and it seems to stay this way ...

Theres no1 stopping u from choosing the team you choose to play on fifa but am i the only one that has a reason behind the teams i play? i cant go from west ham to... man utd to liverpool to barca i have to choose the teams that relate to me in some way i dont care if i loose so bluddy what.

Ive never gone to watch a man utd game, i dont support them thats why so im not gonna choose them. Im not saying you have to but 80% of barca players i bet havnt seen barca play in rl. or maybe even not watched on tv...

Just thought id ask

I love Real Madrid I really do, but online I use France. But it's not that I can't, I just like Frances formation a LOT more.

I was a Man Utd fan when I was around 6 or 7 years old for reasons that I cant really remember - I then regularly went to see Bristol Rovers as at the time they were playing all their home games just down the road from me. Kind of converted and supported ever since, although I did lose interest in football for a couple of years and didnt follow the sport greatly.

I think its very hard to not support a team that you go and see regularly. I live just down the road from Fratton Park now... if I got a season ticket to pompy I would imagine I would find it very hard to not follow them if I was to see all their games standing in the home end. That said, I dont think I would ever waver at this point from being a Bristol Rovers fan - but at a younger age the team you see the most should have the greatest impression on who you support.

The reason I support West Ham is My grandmother was born there, and my dad was a West Ham fiend, so When I was born, I was litterally born into a West Ham family

Because i played at Feyenoord, and my dad is from Rotterdam and he's always been a huge fan of them, so i took it over. Besides that, the feeling you have when u r at the stadium beating a rival is the best feeling there is, even better then having an orgasm if you ask me

Im not a big fan of MLS, because of the quality of football,

many fans may not be from the actual area of the team, but they have grown up watching them for a long time so i believe that anyone has the right to support what team they want, regardless if they are from that place... (for example: manchester, barcelona, milan)

I've supported Milan since I was kid. I think when I was younger, it was because I liked the colour red and black, but now it's because I like them as a team. I like their chemistry, line-up of players (with the exception of Gilardino), and the atmosphere of San Siro, and the fact that I hope to play for them someday.

I live in USA and support Arsenal. My family always travels to Newmarket and Ascot the races, and I began attending matches at Highbury for about 15 years ago. Have made at least one match every year since.

I can say a big reason most Americans don't support MLS is the stadiums. It has a terrible atmosphere. How can I get excited about watching the Revolution when they are playing on a plastic pitch with american football lines and 3/4 of the stadium closed?

When I go to England we would stay in London, so I wanted a club that I could see regularly, and most of my friends that live in London are Gooners. I also liked Highbury and the atmosphere more than the other London venues I visited. I don't feel the same about Emirates, and my favorite ground in London is now Stamford Bridge.

In addition to the two Arsenal venues I have been to Craven Cottage, Vicarage Road, Milwall and that rathole White Fart Lane.

I don't see how anyone that has never been to Manchester supports United, but then again a good friend of mine from London says half the city supports the NE Patriots, so I guess many people just like a winner.

I also support Watford and was gutted when they were relegated, but the Golden Boys should be back in the premier league next season.
