Bayern Munich ready to send Donovan back to LA Galaxy
Landon Donovan and a permanent stay at Bayern Munich is now looking even less likely. Donovan has been with Bayern since December in a loan deal similar to the one for David Beckham with AC Milan. With LA Galaxy owners AEG saying last week that Beckham and Donovan would be returning in March, Bayern Munich have now indicated that even if Donovan were available they would not seek to keep the USMNT striker. "Donovan is an interesting player,'' Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the Munich newspaper TZ. "But when you have Klose, Toni and Olic already under contract, we think the fourth player (striker) should really be a young player with perspective.''

He was doing fine during the friendlies during January, but he has not been all that great yet. But, he still has a couple of games to go, to prove himself. Especially if Toni is going to miss a couple of games.
Plus, one of the reasons why he struggled last game, was because of the trip he had just made, between Germany and US. Maybe if not for that midweek game, he would have finished that chance. Don't give up on him yet though. He is not done yet.

Thats a good call, but in that scenario, it won't take place until the summer, so he would definitely be coming back for at least the short term.

I definitely think the same but also the bonus of him leaving. All the attention Galaxy and LMS were receiving had gone basically dead until he got loaned. Now with him possibly staying with AC Milan it brings a lot more attention to Galaxy and the MLS.
He's definitely staying in Milan |

anyways yeah alot of players down here make little money compare to the MLS or even the Mexican league. I remember our highest payed player only making $38,000(though there are some exceptions that houses are cheaper here) a year in our team Deportivo Cali(the richest club in Colombia) but yeah I think this Seattle team is gonna be excellent, due to Fredy isn't even a DP and play just like one. Still hope JPA and the RB's cream on Fredy's sounders. But for us Colombians we consider the opening match old generation vs new generation.

Well, we had been told that he was going to leave the club, but nothing official has been said yet. But I think he will still be moving on.

I don't even know how this whole beckham situation can work outside the transfer window, is milan gonna loan him for the rest of the season? i know if beckham buy his own contract out, its possible as he will be a "free agent", can donovan afford to buy his own contract out if other teams are interested? anyways no one has express their interest in landon publicly yet

Meh, from a politician you should've known he was lying
------------------------------------------------------ On another note, Osorio visits El Salvador and is interested in their national team left back Alfredo Pacheco.

What's up with Zach Well " retiring ", for DC, the old age of 27?
I know he played horribly for most of the season, so it's probably not a significant loss, I would assume. Addition by subtraction, for United?

I just don't think his head was in the game anymore. He was doing poorly last year, and the fans were getting after him, which was playing in his head. They brought Crayton in, and he immediately lost his starting job, and apparently, the kid we drafted is supposed to be pretty good.
So, it was highly unlikely that Wells would play at all for us this year. I suppose he probably could have worked himself over somewhere else, but I think he has checked out of the game mentally, for one reason or another. But, it would not surprise me to see him come back at some point.

Good for Gallardo...... and I was trying to go for Hurtado with my pick in a fantasy draft, but someone snapped him up immediately as he became available.
Seattle is looking daaaaaaaangerous. Immediately, too. Top to bottom, from the field to the manager. If the West is weak again, I can see them making a decent impact.
