San Jose has been making some moves, too.

Signing both; Darren Huckerby (Norwich City) & Scott Sealy (of Kansas City). Considering their sincere weakness has been on the offensive side, already equipped with a strong backline and GK, I could see them making a push for a playoff spot next year.

Good for them.

So, not only does New England have a (reserve) player heading off to become a Priest this week but now they're attempting to really hammer home the idea of good karma coming back to them in the form of silverware:
ESPNsoccernet - MLS - FBI: Revs staffers help subdue man on flight

Cheaters! (or something...)

L.A. Galaxy release veteran defender Xavier

LOS ANGELES, July 19 (MLS) - The Los Angeles Galaxy have released former Portugal defender Abel Xavier.

The Major League Soccer club announced the decision after receiving visa clearance for their new signing, Argentinian centre-back Eduardo Dominguez, ahead of Saturday night's league match at the New York Red Bulls.

'Abel has been a wonderful professional at our club and I want to personally thank him for coming to Los Angeles and being a part of the Galaxy family,' Galaxy president and general manager Alexi Lalas said.

'We wish him continued success in what has already been a long and storied career. This was a difficult decision, but it was necessary.'

Xavier, 35, joined the Galaxy from Middlesbrough in June 2007, a month before David Beckham arrived. He had spent 17 seasons in Europe with Benfica in his native Portugal, Everton and Liverpool in England, Bari and Roma in Italy, as well as stops in Germany (Hannover), Holland (PSV Eindhoven), Spain (Real Ovideo) and Turkey (Galatasaray),.

Capped 20 times by Portugal, including a 2002 World Cup semi-final appearance, the defender played 20 games for the Galaxy, including 10 times from a possible 16 matches this season.

Xavier's replacement Dominguez, 29, goes straight into the Galaxy squad for Saturday's night's game at Giants Stadium having trained with his new team-mates all week.
He has spent his career playing in Argentina and Colombia since beginning his career in 1996 at Velez Sarsfield, also taking in spells at Olimpo, Racing Club, Independiente and Colombian side Medellin before joining Argentinian outfit Huracan in February.

It was time for him to go. He's gotten slow and uninspired. The guy is 35 and trying to defend against players almost half his age in some cases. Retire, Xavier. Hold onto your legacy and thank you for playing in the MLS.

We should pick up Coraccio. I don't get why Dynamo has so many latino fans with their racist anti latino Coach Dom.

Well I for one love the sport. I am going to support the Dynamo because they are my team. I could care less that the Dynamo have no Latino players in their team.

I wasn't questioning why latinos love soccer. I was questioning why they love the Dynamo with their anti latino coach.

Again. Not why latinos like soccer. Why they like the Dynamo despite Dom Kinnear(sp?) being a racist.

Landon hit a fantastic ball to tie up tonights game in ET. He nearly had the game winner, had it not been for hitting the post.

Yeah, power outages in the Southeast section of the city have postponed the game until tomorrow.

They are playing the Toronto - Montreal game in Toronto to see who goes to the Champions League to represent Canada. Toronto has to win this game, while Montreal will go through with a draw.

Right now, its 1-1, just started the second half.
