Well, I've watched a majority of their games. Claudio, while skilled and fluid on the field, is more of a CF / linker than anything. He doesn't have the same attacking mentality he probably once possessed.

Kansas City, needs a true attacking ST. They passed on the kid from V-Tech this year with the #1 pick, Nyarko, I believe who was a prolific scorer in the college ranks. Opting instead for Chance Myers, who is going to be a very, very solid RB as he continues to develop. Meyers could potentially play on the wing as well in the future.

All in all, Kansas City's; defense is above average, midfielders are average, keeper is solid but the frontline really could use a lethal spark. Wolff isn't the answer but perhaps there is one in the transfer window this summer or in the next draft.

I watch Nyarko for three years during my time at Virginia Tech, and to be honest, although I love the kid, his is just not a true striker. He possesses great speed and great dribbling ability, but to me, his finishing always left something to be desired.

Although, I do think that KC should have taken him in the draft, because I do think he has great potential. But for this year, he would not have been the answer.

It's no secret, when EJ left for England, it created a sincere hole up top. Sealy was thought to potentially fill that void, along with attaining Lopez.

However, unfortunately, that isn't the case. Scoring punch is the overall weakness right now for the club that has a very solid squad minus a true ST.

Real Salt Lake 0 - Houston 0

Salt Lake should have won considering the amount of chances they have but they didn't finish them. Positive result for the Dynamo.

Beckerman was hilarious at the end of the match pointing at each referee and telling them "You suck".

just caught the last 20 mins and it didn't look like a boring 0-0 game. i thought houston were pretty unlucky to score and probably would have if it wasn't played on a ****y field. you'd think with football being out they'd fix it up for rsl.

True, they probably have the worst field I have ever seen. The american football lines makes my eyes bleed.

And they'll have their own stadium in a matter of months.

Yeah, I was watching some of the game last night with my girlfriend and my parents. And my father and I were complaining about the lines, and I was telling him about how the new stadium was being built, etc etc.

And then I asked my girlfriend about the lines, and she said that she didn't even notice them, because she was just focusing on the ball.

I was actually taken back a bit by her statement. I disagree with her, but thought it was interesting that she didn't really notice them.

This will be the first time the Revs put out a full line-up all season. I'd be shocked if we lost by 2 goals.

i just don't think the chemistry will be 100 % there and i like la at home. it sucks for dc that the revs get their full team back tonight because we just started catching up.

We have taken home the last 4 goal of the week championships.

Just give us the title now

The only new face coming in really will be Twellman and that won't make that big of a difference in terms of chemisty. All it will do is actually give us a true goal scorer up top again which is what we have been lacking.

Good call.

Hope you had some money on it getting the scoreline exactly correct.

I had more than money on it. I had my lifeline on it.

Thank you though.

Chunky and Chelseablue are quite good at predicting their teams scores.

Maybe if Chicago actually played in the MLS those standings would look different. Apparently most of their games are scheduled sometime next century. That and if they don't play the next 20 games that their behind with their heads up their lalalalala.

Here are the starters for the all star game against West Ham (July 24th).

Not a bad side, although I am surprised they went with a 3-5-2.

GK: Matt Reis (New England Revolution)

Defenders: Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City Wizards), Frankie Hejduk (Columbus Crew), Michael Parkhurst (New England Revolution)

Midfielders: David Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Cuauhtemoc Blanco (Chicago Fire), Shalrie Joseph (New England Revolution), Sacha Kljestan (Chivas USA), Robbie Rogers (Columbus Crew)

Forwards: Kenny Cooper (FC Dallas), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy)

Ives said that Robbie and Sacha will be on Olympic duty, and therefore will have to be replaced by Nicol.
