The start of the game was great. I guess that should show everyone why you shouldn't try to block Beckham's cross. That was something that look painful just to watch. It is a pity though that they haven't told the story behind Beckham and why he always wears long sleeves.

Gallardo in the 60th. Was a bit sloppy, but it was a nice finish.

3-1 to United (my prediction a week ago)

Burch just hit the post from 34 yards out on a free kick. Had Cronin beat too.

Fred with a simple pass from inside of the box to the open Emilio. A simple finish from Emilio

4-1 DC in the 68th minute.

This goes to show the difference in class in the Western and Eastern conferences. The top team from the west cannot hang with a "mid table" eastern conference team.

d.c. have absolutely controlled this game taking donovan and beckham out of it for the most part. they should have more than 4 goals and man is it good to see ben olsen back.

Almost halfway into Beckham season 2 and the commentators are back at pointing out how the LA defense is inexperienced. So by my calculation they'll know how to not let up 3 on 0's when Becks is around 40 years old.

Wheres Maldini?

I can. I think it'd be honorable only if he came here. Obviously theres no use to play for another Euro team.

I think more than just signing good players even if they are up there in age is great. Our players can learn a lot from them.

Well, it looks like Kansas City agreed with my assesment and went out to potentially address the lack of quality up front by bringing back forward: Josh Wolff.

FOX Sports on MSN - USA - I was sincerely unimpressed with his NT play but perhaps he'll be able to find some production on the club level. Perhaps...but unlikely.

If only we had a chance at McBride (which apparently, he's now not ruling out a return to the NT...anyone hear that, too?)

While I am not the biggest fan of Josh Wolff (and to be honest, I don't think anyone is after his performances), he had a decent scoring record with the Fire and Wizards before.

He may not be the best option, but the Wizards need all the help they can get.

And M1ZZOU, I have not heard about McBride. Where did you hear it from?

I'm heading out the door but I'll try to remember the source, if I recall correctly it may have been on FSC's website by Jamie Trecker, of all people.

It's his article regarding the US '' needing to be tested ", all the while he complained continuely when the NT choose to play; England, Spain & Argentina. Dude is annoying as **** and completely hypocritical.

So Kansas City has Josh Wolff back huh? I thought they wanted to score goals.

Haha. No argument here my friend. However, throwing more bodies into the mix certainly is worth a shot.

i don't watch kc play but i really thought claudio lopez was going to be like angel in his first season. maybe he could be and he just doesn't have the support. my thinknig is they need to make another move in the transfer window.

Yeah, but to be fair, he is not going up against Puyol and Marchena, and Terry and Ferdinand. This is still the MLS, he will be decent. He has I think about 60 career MLS goals. Thats a decent haul for a player of his ability.
