I find it strange that is was decided on away goals. Your team played here twice and the Dynamo only played at Pizza Hut Oven once. I feel that there should be another game played.

Yeah. So that means you had home field advantage twice to our once. I think it's fine. Better luck next year, huh? So where IS the cannon anyway?

The cannon is somewhere in Robertson Stadium.

2 nice headers for goals. Pretty good game.

I love that North American players aren't divers and pretend to be hurt. The coaches should tell the foreign players that we don't do that here.

exactly

that game was great for that reason. it got real intense. had that been a european game, play would have been stopped every 10 seconds.

There are two MLS games at 7:30, one at 8, one at 8:30, and one at 10:30 tonight.

So it would decent enough for ESPN2 to show one of them right (since they have the Thursday night deal and all).

And what do they decide to show? Old boxing matches and NHRA racing.

How disappointing. Those should not be shown before MLS.

if they show one and don't even cover it in sportscenter why would they cover two? i get the feeling they show one just so they can say we show every sport.

Its dumb. And I know FSC had at least one of the games, but I worry more for the casual fan. Someone who might stumble across the MLS by flipping through the channels. Thats the type of people they ignore by not showing a game on a night like this.

By the way, what a pitiful display by Chicago. They need to learn how to score. Especially against the Earthquakes (version 3.0)

yeah and nows the perfect time for people to fall in love with soccer because there isn't basketball or football on. i wouldn't worry about chicago if i was a fan because 3 games ago they beat someone 5 to nothing.

That was at the end of May though, and against the Red Bulls. In their past four games, the have exactly one goal. And that was us who conceded.

Finally, Kansas City was able to secure a win...yeesh. I was at the last MLS game they won, way back on April 20th, here in Chicago.

I honestly think the Fires season is over. Fine if they go on a tear and end up 1st or 2nd but i have a knack for knowing when it's done and i think it's done.

yeah i think they'll fire their coach eventually cause they do have talent and should be winning some games they're losing.

I highly doubt that, copnsidering they are supposed to be getting Mcbride soon. And not to mention they have plenty of talent as is.

I'd be shocked i they didn't at least get a playoff spot.

Well, certainly some type of move could be on the horizon if the trend continues. What's unfortunate, is i believe Curt Onalfo could become a solid manager.

However, it seems as if KC is lacking a sincere scoring threat. Claudio Lopez still plays solid and is great at setting up, playing more as a CF, rather than a pure ST. I thought Scott Sealy had the potential to take Eddie Johnson's place but he's yet to step up.

All in all, in the offseason, a pure scoring threat should be their main target to address. They have a very solid; defense, midfield and keeper currently.

I think the Fire need to get McBride out there. They really need someone to knock the ball into the net.

Do you guys think this set up will work? Playing the DC/LA game before the Euro final.

Do you think more people will watch the DC game?

Unfortunately, I'm going to miss today's matches (EURO / DC-LA). Hopefully, I'll catch some sufficient highlights if not some re-airings tonight.

Yeah, I am going to be missing the second half of the final.

But I have a game of my own, so I suppose that I should go to that instead.

Great cross by Burch, but what a header by Emilio.

2-1 to United in the 38th minute
