He has, he was at Bayern Munich on loan from January until March this year. He wanted to stay but LA/MLS wanted too much money.

I meant a pernament move away from the club. I heard about his loan spell to Bayern Munich, and he did very well aswell.

Just to make sure i understand how MLS works team-wise. If i was to win the lottery in a few days i could "create?" an MLS "franchise?" aka Team? and they would instantly be playing in the MLS? Even if the team is a day old?

lol, no. You have to make some sort of partnership with the city, get a stadium approved as well as several other deciding factors like fan base. In theory, you could get a team in maybe 4 or 5 years.

Somewhat correct. There is a selection process, in which a certain amount of teams are created. But you would also have to fork over $40 mill (£20 million) to enter the league.

Nice goal from Eddie Lewis there. But I don't think O'Rourke should have been sent off. The second foul was definitely a yellow, but there is no convincing me that the first one was. I don't think it was the difference maker, but I don't think it was a yellow the first go around.

I will definitely concede with your viewpoint, it only brings even more validation that the USL and MLS needs some type of partnership.

Obviously, with the amount of money needed to start a franchise, the truest form of a promotion/relegation won't happen for a long time, if ever, but people far smarter than I should create some variation of promotion/relegation that they deem worthy of consideration.

1. We need to wait 10 years and develop, and also create a relationship with USL.

2.During those 10 years we need to add a couple more teams and take away the two seperate conferences.

3. After the 10 years (perhaps too soon), we need to both raise the salary cap or get rid of it in conjunction with possibly instituting promotion/relegation with USL.
