Wasn't exactly very productive either. I know he didn't play too many games, but he did give the ball away alot and miss quite a few sitters.

His fate is in Rafa's hands now methinks, do you think he'll let him stay?

To be honest I'd keep him as the back up striker and concentrate are money what weve got now on a new left winger Imo.

Nah i rate N'Gog better than Voronin even though they're both pants at the minute.Neither can trap a snail never mind a ball.

n'gog is great, i havent seen him in the reserves but against sunderland he was brilliant, and in the french under-20's he is great. he has alot of potential and confidence, and he has a bag of tricks. as you said, he hasnt got the greatest first touch but it isnt anywhere near abysmal. he also has a good finish, and is quick.

he did single handedly destroy sunderland, when we were without gerrard and torres.

N'Gog is a very talented youngster. What more could he of done last season? He played well for the first team in his very first year in England and also scored in the Champions League.

In the reserves he looked head and shoulders above most and has also shown it for the French U20's.

Reserves is veery different to the first team no? Ok in fairness when he played he didnt do to badly alot of the time but mostly his first touch is terrible and gives away possession far too often.

We have strikers better . e.g. Nemeth yet it doesnt look like Rafa is gonna give hima chance.

Nemeth better than N'Gog?

Yes Nemeth has scored alot of goals for the reserves but he has alot of injury problems which has slowed down his progression.

N'Gog has proved he can score and put in decent performances for the first team but Nemeth hasn't yet.

So how can you say Nemeth is the better striker when he hasn't got himself out of the reserves whereas N'Gog has and has started important Premiership games, and he has started away at PSV in the Champions League.

It's a harsh outlook mate.. He's still young, and he is going to have flaws in his game, but he will work to improve it, and he has over the course of the season..

As for Nemeth, it was not down to Rafa.. He was injured for the majority of the start, and took him months to regain form.. Then, he went on loan to get fitness, but got injured again.. He was unlucky last year, and if he manages to remain mainly injury free for the majority of the season.. I can see him getting more games in the Carling Cup and the FA Cup, before making a debut in the league.. Pre-season will be very important for him..

Ngog was put straight onto the bench whereas nemeth has had to go through the reserves. Of course he's had more chances in the Prem and Europe

So how is Nemeth better than N'Gog?

N'Gog got into the first team at times because of his performances for the reserves.

because nemeth was bought here at a very young age, and his last 2 seasons have been destroyed by injuries. he has also looked good in the reserved, but not amazing, wheras ngog has looked head and shoulders above.

also, ngog has looked brilliant for the french national team. nemeth is average next to ngog

Which if you had actually read, related to my last post that N' Gog was brought in to sit on the bench. If Rafa bought him and put him in the resies he'd be in the exact same place as Nemeth. Rafa has a phobia of playing too many reserve players. I'm not saying he hasn'tgot potential.but at this minute he isn't consistent and good enough to start for us.
