Heard on sky sports news a few minutes ago that Glen Johnson looks to have chosen Liverpool over Chelski and Bayern. Would everyone pick him over arbeloa to start?

Im not sure on the fee but I think 15m would be reasonable considering he is still quite young and possibly the best right back in England

Still, your being forced to pay about twice what he's worth just because he's English... We only paid 8mil for Sagna and he's a better player than Johnson (wasn't amazing this season admittedly)

k ill tell u wats basically happened i believe liverpool have offered 9m in cash and there 8m debt, that makes 17m, chelsea have offered 17.5m but johnson doesnt want to ge here, if johnson was to come in i feel that arbeloa will go to madrid for 8m wit johnson in to replace him, brilliant signing for liverpool and good business by rafa

Up to Johnson really. If he wants to go to a club for the money or club with history. Chelsea greedy lalalalalalalas, Dont they already have Bosingwa? He's decent.. Why replace him?

I Wouldn't say VERY Cheap... I think at that time he was valued at around 25 mil.? I don't recall him being this good at Atletico.
