So after reading the last two pages about u guys bickering about Silva, didn't Rafa already come out and say "Silva is not a Liverpool target"?

He did but that was only because his agent was trying to rise the prise by going public about our approach.

If the rumours are true then we have put a 15m take it or leave it deal on the table for Valencia.

Don't worry I didn't mean to say what i said in the way I did

We all have our own opinions . All of them should be respected

If they accept I'll be so happy, but given the financial crisis Valencia are in at the moment I can't see them accepting. They'll me looking for a much higher bidder IMO.

We could offer a player in exchange. They are defiantly going to be selling Villa in the summer so maybe they will be tempted by Voronin plus 15m

valencia NEED to sell silva and david villa, and it looks like juventus are no longer interested in silva bdcause of them buying diego, and real madrid will probably have bigger fish to fry. i reckon our main rivals for his signature will be man city, but i doubt he would be too happy going to city. if he refuses to sign they cant sell him, so if were lucky we might get him for £15million, which would be the best signing rafa had ever made, a world class player for £15million would be stunning.

I wish

Last year Real Madrid offered 40 million euros for Villa, this year his value has gone up, which probably means he'll end up there or at Barca ( as he said he wants to stay in Spain)

i knew that Dave

Just a test to see if you're a good reader ..............

To be honest mate, I can't see them accepting Voronin

It's like having a headless chicken run around the pitch for 90 minutes.

EDIT : Have i just confused myself ?

barca are linked with every spanish player these days, but i dont believe they will buy him as it would mean they would have to not play iniesta. also, arent they heavily linked with ribery? if they get ribery they definetly wont get silva.

They haven't got much money to spend on a decent replacement for Villa so they would probably take what they can at the moment.

Forgot about that. Could be down to city and us battling it out for his signature. Hopefully Rafa can pull a few strings and get Silva here because it will be hard battling city with the amount of money they have at there disposal.

I can't see City beating us to him. I think it will be down to us, Madrid, and Juve(if they still wiant him after Diego).

I seriously doubt City will beat us to him. Firstly we are guarenteed group stages in the Champs League. City are not in Europe at all.
Secondly we have a big Spanish contingent which is a bonus for him.
Third Man City have Robinho for left wing and I don't think they need a second striker.

The main problem is Madrid. Apparantly they are looking for mainly Spanish players after seeing Barca do well with a lot of Spanish players.

Madrid will be focusing on getting Ronaldo this summer and Barca are after Ribery.

The only worry with city making a move is that Valencia need every penny they can get and if Silva is a greedy ******* and is more interested in money rather than success then we could possibly miss out on signing him.

He isn't like that.

Barca and/or Real can easily get Silva i think. They've both got tonnes of money.

I suppose it will come down to that. But if you're moving abroad I'm sure having friends is a bigger sway than money. For whatever amount of money he will be tied there for up to 5 years.

I don't know if Ronaldo will leave either.

Yeah having Spanish players at the club could sway the deal for him.

At the end of the day it all comes down to what Silva wants, does he want a massive pay rise with city and lower his standers, stay in Spain and win La Liga with Barca/Real or join us and link up with his mates and battle for the league under the greatest Spanish manger ever to grace footballs green pitch (got abit carried away with the last one there didnt I )
