and on that champions league dive, i dont think it was a dive, you could see gattuso ripping and his shoulders, and gerrard was pretty much 1 on 1, why would he dive? i think he fell over lol.

I reckon he fell over yesterday too. His trailing leg seemed to slip to me.

Honestly though, he's got to be the most overrated player in England, very good player still (Gave one of the best performances i've ever seen a good 4 years back against us at Stamford bridge) but no one ever seems to give him flack.

... apart from his own fans after he scored an own goal for you lot in the 2005 CC Final, the stick he got was terrible coming from the scousers.

And i dont agree that he's over rated. I'd say Lampard is more over-rated, or used to be, until they stopped playing him, now everyones call him ****. Not many players in the england squad are over-rated.

LOL, Lampards the most underrated player in the England squad, an 90% of them are very overrated, none more so than Gerrard.

Like I said, I still think he's a quality player, but in everyones eye he can do no wrong, even if he dives, goes in 2 footed or plays poor, just takes the one gloryfied 40 yard pile driver an he's hailed god for the next week, IMO anyway.

I still think your being harsh. He shouldnt be recognised for his goals but for his all round contribution. He runs his *** off, he never stops when he passes the ball, always moving, alway dropping back, always running forward, not many players do what he does.

I think Forever Blue has an unhealthy hatred for Liverpool caused by us dumping them out of the champions league TWICE, which ultimately led to Mourinho getting sacked because he couldnt deliver the most prized trophy in club football, and now his club are falling apart at the seams with all the big names wanting out by the seasons end.

You're right, I do hate Liverpool, but what's that got to do with the fact I find Gerrard overrated?

Fair enough, never said he wasn't a good player, but I just find him well overrated, bit like Messi too, honestly don't see what's so amazing about him either besides the fact he's a very talented youngster.

You could also say Gerrard has got us kicked out of 2 Euro cups consecutively... first Euro 2004, an he then missed the sitter that would probably have cemented our place in Euro 2008. (Be a very lucky boy if we do qualify now).

Seriously though, he's a quality player, just overrated IMO, never see him getting stick unless it's the fickle Liverpool fans threatening him cause he wants to leave or cause he scores an own goal an isn't passionate enough to wear the red shirt anymore.

but i think ur wrong, gerrard isn't the most overated player in england, wayne rooney is, he's still good but overated

and gerrard might not score as much goals as lampard but gerrard is better at defending, to be a good centre midfielder u can't be just good at attacking

Reading some of the other comments on this forum theres not a whole lot that doesn't seem to get on your lalalala. Maybe youre just have a hateful personality but I sense an awful lot of anger coming from all your posts in general.
