Kind of ironic how everyone before the season was saying the only way we were going to have a chance of winning the title is if Torres performed as well as he did last season. Torres hasnt played for most of the season and yet here we are sitting nicely on top. Just shows how much people underestimate Liverpool.

And when Keane finally gets some time and starts scoring and Skrtel gets back to form with Agger and Hyypia playing so well... it will be fantastic.

That is true, i think there hasnt been an extended run of games where we've hit top form. It just has not happened yet, there has been runs of 20 minutes or so where we've looked top, but i dont think as a team we've hit our best yet. I think once torres is back playing regularly, Alonso is healthy, Babel regains his confidence, Aurelio fully recovers, and Insua comes back, we'll be looking very good.

I just downloaded the latest Live Update from XBL for FIFA09, and I'm really shocked. Considering Liverpool are top of the league, the players stats are awful!

Alonso has gone down to 77, and he has arguably been our best player this season.

I would imagine for a team on form and at the top of the EPL, their stats should be higher.

Disgrace

Reds to loan out winger
Interest gathers for Reds winger
Last updated: 14th January 2009

Liverpool are planning to loan out young winger Adam Hammill before the close of the transfer window, skysports.com understands.

Hammill is currently back at Anfield after a successful loan spell at Blackpool earlier this season.

The 20-year-old is highly regarded by the Liverpool coaching staff and was rewarded with a new three-year deal prior to his move to Blackpool.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez has been impressed by Hammill's development since his return to Liverpool and he is now ready to loan him out again so that he can gain valuable first-team experience.

Hammill has enjoyed productive loan spells at Dunfermline, Southampton and Blackpool and he could now be on the move again to continue his development as Benitez wants him to be ready to challenge for a place in his first-team next season.

A number of clubs are believed to have made enquiries about Hammill's availability, with sides from the Championship, SPL and some European teams all thought to have sounded out moves for the skilful wide-man.

well they update them all the time, and i think they even make updates based on injuries.

so if i player is injured in real life, his stats will be effected. That's my guess why Alonso would be a little lower.

94

But the mancs abusers are easy to beat. Just keep one twoing the ball in defence and half of the team will come at you, then all's you have to do is one two the ball between players up the field until you are one on one. Simple

Scum beat Wigan 1-0.

Wigan were the bigger threat between them and Fulham.

Hopefully.

And hopefully Fulham can pull something off. Is it at OT?
