We should have won it.. But the group is in no doubt no anyway really..

I was slightly impressed with Ngog.. He wasn't great, but he showed promise, especially with that little flick to keep it in and give him a chance at goal.. With a bit of experience he could be a good player..

apart from that all his touches were dreadful but yeah with a bit of confidence...

that was never a penalty deserved it though.

The officials were horrific.

Not a great result but a point will probably keep the group more open for us

I think it was obvious what side Torres wanted to win tonight. He didn't know what to do when maxi scored

Top goal by Maxi though.

95th minute? Leaving it a bit late, eh?

No where near penalty but they deserved the point.
Agger were ace.

Sad Sweden referees ...

Lionel Messi believes Liverpool are favourites to win the Champions League this season.

The Reds are currently top of their group in the competition and the Barcelona forward tipped them to lift the trophy for the sixth time in their history.

"If I had to choose anyone to win the Champions League then it would be Liverpool," said Messi, who has turned out for Argentina 33 times.

"They have great players like Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt and Javier Mascherano, and they are difficult to play against.

"Maybe there are teams that play better football but I can see them getting to the final in Rome."

MESSI TIPS REDS FOR EUROPEAN GLORY

I reckon he's hinting at a transfer here..

What would a Liverpool game be without last minute drama?

A dive is when noone makes contact with you and you go down like Ronaldo does everytime. At least with Gerrard there was contact

1- no
2- And thats not cheating? just because he got the ball doesnt mean he can throw himself at opponents and expect a foul

He cheated to get a penalty, simple as that.

he was going for the ball, he won it and there was contact, he then decided to make a meal of it and the linesman seemed to have fell for it

We deserved a draw anyway. Same story as the first match with them, we were the better side but they manage to sneak a goal in.

i wouldn't say cheated, he tricked the linesmen (by the way i must say that the European referees are ridiculously bad!) and really it was the linesman who cheated Atletico, so what Gerrard made a meal of it that isn't cheating, the linesmen just made a stupid decision to award a penalty

He tried to fool the referees thats cheating, he tried to gain an advantage by acting as though he was fouled where as if anything he fouled the Atletico player by jumping on him
