Does adidas live season count online or is it just for general games against mates?

Maradona: Argentina Is Mascherano And Ten More
Diego Maradona told the press that the Argentine national team is "Mascherano and ten more" players. As well as this, he believes Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez have to play against Uruguay...

surprised no one has posted that yet. props to mascherano for earning that sort of praise.

I'm glad some people recognise the job Mascherano does on the pitch. He is very underrated in terms of how much effort he puts in and how well he does in the holding role. Can become a legend with us if we can keep him for the rest of his career.

Martin Skrtel today revealed he feared his career could be over after collpasing to the ground in agony at Manchester City last weekend.

The Slovakian international sustained posterior cruciate ligament damage after falling awkwardly at Eastlands and will be out of action until Christmas.

But he admits a speedy return to action was the furthest thing from his mind as he was stretchered off the pitch during the second half of the Reds 3-2 victory.

"The pain was unbearable," he said. "I can't remember a lot about the moment – but it was terrible. I thought that was the end for me.

"I have never suffered anything like that before but I remained conscious and they gave me oxygen to help with the pain.

"I was in shock for a while but now I am coming to terms with what happened. It hurts still, but things are getting better.

"I almost ripped the ligament fully - and if I had done that, I would have been out for eight months. But now it will be more like eight weeks if I am lucky, when I should be able to start training again."

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva believes the Reds are stronger this term as they bid to get over the disappointment of a trophyless season.

The Reds failed to win anything last term but have started this season in impressive form, with no defeats so far. While Brazilian midfielder Leiva admits he has found the competition for places at Anfield difficult to deal with, he believes the strength of the squad is a massive plus for the club as they battle for success on four fronts.
The 21-year-old has found his chances limited this term, having made only two appearances in the Premier League, and a single start in both the UEFA Champions League and Carling Cup.
But he is prepared to work hard and earn his place in the side.
Change

Leiva, who is in the Brazilian squad to face Venezuela and Colombia on Sunday and next Wednesday, told Liverpool's official website: "We did not win any trophies last season and we were all disappointed about that.

"That is something we want to change this season and the squad is now stronger than it was so hopefully that will help us.

"If you look at last season we drew some games that we would have expected to win but we have started this season well and are picking up wins so that is positive.
"The squad is now much better which is good for the club because it means we all have to work really hard if we want to be in the team.

"For me, it is tough because we have so many good players in my position but hopefully I will get my chance and when I do I have to be ready."

I don't think it'll be Lucas, but I can see what he means..

Lucas can develop into a player like Gerrard, but I doubt he'd ever reach Gerrard's ability..

I posted that same article a page back and everyone ignored it (well, the one from the LFC website, quotes are the same) YOU BIG MEANIES!!!

Anyways, Lucas is more of a defensive minded player than Stevie, more of a Mascherano type player. We'll need someone with more of an attacking sense when Gerrard eventually retires.....someone with the combined ability of Gerrard and Alonso will do.

We can all dream.

Aaron Ramsey has just had a brilliant game for the u21. He reminds me a lot of stevie, shame he plays for arsenal because he would of been a great replacement for stevie
