did he take gerrard and carragher off when it was 2-1 or 3-1? i can't remember. I understand if it was 3-1

There's plenty of chances in the Premiership, and tbf that's their first defeat. Whereas there's no second chances on Tuesday.

So yes, I understand Gerrard didn't look bothered, not like he was at Everton anyway

Do you think that Rafa wants Gerrard, Torres to injure themselvs chasing a lost cause...

Ha, lose to Marseille, lose to Utd an lose to us in a row an Beneathus is farked, he might not even make it as far as the Carling Cup game.

Man those sponsorless kits are ugly. Nothing to complain about here things are going great for you now. What is up with that anyhow? When you thrashed Besiktas 8-0 I was fairly sure Carlsberg was on the shirts. Does that mean the poor old French can't handle a little an alcohol sponsor?

That basically sealed the game from the start. It was no contest from there on. That was a really impressive performance with only 34% of the possession which I find hard to believe. If the keeper held on to that or knocked it out for the corner things could have been different. I think this result makes it really hard to question the approch to the Reading game.

Actually I was looking forward to the Bayern Munich vs Liverpool UEFA Cup final. Just kidding about that one but that would of a heck of a cup final. Another chance at Milan would be nice though.

We didnt have the sponsers on the kits because its illegal in france for a team to promote alchohol or gambling companies. We've discussed this quite a few times

Great goal by torres, didnt see babel's but i heard it was a cracker. bring on the round of 16

babel's goal, was a good feed ball from one of your half backs. Babel just took it, out ran the defence, then rounded the keeper by putting the ball underneith him and then finished it calmly.

On Torres, his goal was class.

Yeah, at this point, he should be considered, not only, a top striker in the EPL, but the World.

I dunno how he is fairing in the EPL as of recently, but in the Champions League you could tell he was meant to be given a chance in this competition, and being part of one of the best CL teams doesn't hurt too much.

Was it the one where it wasn't a high-chip/lob or anything but just a lil' cheaky chip over the keeper on that right-hand side of the goal?

If you mean that one, then yeah, class again. He was very known for doing that in Spain, his technique is nearly flawless putting a good touch on the ball to lift it over the keeper.
