This is terrible refereeing..
Torres is now injured thanks to that ****ing ref. He should've been giving cards out early, and then he gives one to gerrard? HA. Kewell on, Torres off Come on Harry. Shine for us son

![]() I like him as Liverpool manager, suits the club perfectly, as long as he's there, they'll only settle for the odd cup run - won't mount a serious title challenge under him. The fickle fans strike again though, listening to Radio 5 Live after the game on Sky, an they want Rafa out an Jose in... No chance!!! ![]() ![]()

i only saw last 20 minutes because i didnt wanna wake up at like 3 in the morning. But from what i saw, Sissoko = still playing lalalala and taking Gerrard off when we still need some goals is just plain stupid.

You guys have to REALLY look at the bigger picture. Tuesday is TEN times more important than today's game. You still have more than half of the league season left and plenty more chances to pick up points and games to win but Tuesday is must win. I wouldn't be worried about today's result because it will be very minor in the end. Not winning Tuesday would be much more devestating and I am sure noone at Liverpool is interested winning the UEFA Cup.

so then, just another case of benitez putting the champions league before the prem.
they will never win the prem with him in charge, he values the champions league much higher reading deserved what they got there penalty was a penalty which was proved on motd, and liverpool only really had 1 clear shout for a pen bout time someone bought them down to earth they would have been lucky to draw had they got the penalty anyway, so reading deserved it in the end |

You can say what if this had happened and why didn't he call that, but in the end Reading walked away with 3 points.

We should have had two penalties, one which MOTD didn't show, but if you saw the live game you would have noticed.. But we hit the post 3 times, we had more possesion than Reading, if it had been any other day, we may have got a point or even won.. It was just one of those games... And as for you saying Rafa puts the Champions League higher.. Shut the **** up.. Your just like the media, who will jump at this now.. The reason he took Gerrard, Carra and Torres off is because of the Man U game next week and the Marseille game... We lose that game, we lose £20m.. That money would be our January Transfer Budget, as the Yanks won't provide any.... We aren't like Chelsea and Man U who have money to throw at clubs to get their players, we can't do that... And the Man U game is now a six-pointer...

dan, you on drugs? no team has 20 million to throw away, especially not after the way we spent in the summer
and would you say the champions league is more important than the prem? liverpool have never won it, they have spent huge in the summer to get close, yet the manager still puts the champo league first and this resting players bollox, thats done when the game is won, not while your trying to win it |

Chelsea have £20m to spend easily...
You lot don't seem to understand... Rafa isn't putting it first... The Marseille game is massive.. We don't want the UEFA Cup, Rafa knows this.. He wants the money progressing will make (through prize money and TV coverage) to make new signings.. Then who do we have... Man U.. Another must win game.. Do you think that Rafa wants Gerrard, Torres to injure themselvs chasing a lost cause... It is one defeat... We are not even halfway through.. We have lost less than Man U and Chelsea, and still have a game in hand... The title bid is not over...It could be worse.. We could be Derby..
