Gerrard, Torres and Carragher is the perfect spine for the team. If we have them every match we will play well.

Don't worry. He does.

I'm just hoping that Carragher doesn't get booked.

Looks like you guys are going to have a rather tough game. What on Earth is someone wearing 46 playing? That is not a football number at all. Some random reserve getting time with the rotation policy? Numbers higher than 30 should not be allowed.

Yeah. Obviously you can't be a good player when wearing a number higher than 30.

Alright I guess it is the changing of the ways having players with high jersey numbers. I just liked the old days when the starting eleven were numbers 1-11. With the expanding rosters these days that can not happen. You gave two really good examples with the high numbers. Perhaps they started their career with that number and never wanted to change. Teams have about 40 players today including reserves so my number thing was too low. Now sometimes I see players wearing numbers like 99 and THAT is strangle.

I aggree.. i think it has a lot to do with merchandising. If you buy a number 10 jersey with rooney on it you dont want him to be wearing 14 the next day because he's on the bench

Just so we know who is 46 it is Jack Hobbs an 18 year old lad from Portsmouth. Was captain of the reserves last year as he signed with Liverpool at 17. He only played three minutes of professional football with Lincoln City before signing with Liverpool.

Three possible penalty shouts from Liverpool not given but a foul that started out of the box is given to Reading? Who is the ref making these decisions it sounds a little partial.
