Rangers should be giving us a good bit of Anti-Football. Shouldnt be too hard to maintain the majority of the possession, but the Rangers will be doing their usual thing.

I'm hoping for Keane/Ngog starting strike partnership.

Maybe something like this

-----------------------Reina----------------------

Darby-----------Agger--------Skrtel--------Dossena

Benayoun-----Gerrard-------Plessis--------Pennant

-------------------Keane-----Ngog-------------------

Can't wait for the Olympic crew to come back.

Keane can definitely score for us. Ngog is one for the future, i just want to see how he can fare against a strong Rangers defense. Ngog showed that he has some pace, i'd just like to see him play some more.

I read that Rangers manager Walter Smith will be playing his full strength squad against us. Rangers have a UEFA Champions League qualifier that they have to get ready for and playing against us is a good test for them.

This could be another good opportunity for some of the youngsters to get some time in.

Maybe you haven't read what rafa has said.
Torres and Keane will play together, I assume they should start with Ngog coming on at halftime.

Rafa said himself Keane and Torres will start and get at least 45 minutes together to see how it works.Personally i want to see:
----------Reina----------
Arbeloa-Carra-Agger--Dossena

Benni-Gerarrd-Plessis-Aurelio

-----Torres---Keane-------

This is exactly what I want to see aswell.

Mainly Aurelio, I want to see if he can cut it. If he can't Rafa really needs to buy a new left midfielder Who else are we going to put there without playing them out of position? Tbh I preffer Babel either on the right or behind the strikers, and the same with Benayoun.

There's always Bruna and Flynn though I suppose. Oh and El Zhar, he is quite impressive.

What a block by Dossena.

Good to see Torres get on the score sheet.

EDIT: 2-0 Great goal by N'Gog. And now 3-0 Benayoun tap in.

4-0 Xabi Alonso from the spot after a foul on Nemeth. This is starting to get embarrassing for Rangers.

Aston Villa boss Martin O’Neill says Gareth Barry may yet join Liverpool as the deadline for a bid has been scrapped.
O’Neill was optimistic that the England player would be staying after Liverpool missed the midweek deadline to tender a suitable bid for Barry.
But on Thursday, O’Neill was told in a meeting with the player and his agent, they were still expecting a bid from the Merseyside club.
“Obviously I was disappointed to hear that. Gareth’s head is a bit all over the place at the moment and they asked for some more time,” O’Neill said on the club's website.
“So I’ve listened to what they’ve said and I’ll go with it – reluctantly but I’ll go with it.
“There will be no deadline and Liverpool have all the time in the world now to sign Gareth Barry.
“They’ve got up to the normal window, which is the 31st of this month.”
O’Neill says Barry's fate is now out of his hands, and he is fearing the worst.
“If Liverpool at the end of it all do not come up with the money, that’s no-one else’s fault but their own,” added the Villa boss.
“I’d be delighted if that was the case and Gareth stayed. But I would doubt that very much. The ball is very much in their court.”

I would like to see Alonso stay, especially since nobody is offering us what we value him at. That's not wise business if you ask me to take a lesser deal then turn around and overpay for Barry.
