we looked much better in the 2nd half. Good to see the spanish guys back. Nemeth and Pacheco were linking up nicely.

good performances from Cavalieri, Dossena, Skrtel and Carragher.

Keane didnt really get too much time on the ball. Hopefully he'll get another start Vs. Rangers.

Becuase last year, if we hadn't lost Agger to injury it would have been ours, or we would have been closer to it..

Look at it..
Agger starts the season, we were top, great run.. Then he gets injured towards theend of September, we conncede goals we wouldn't have done with Agger there, and we lose ground..

Now, once Skrtel signs, he's very similair to Agger, we get some stability at the back, we didn't conced stupid goals, and we were catching up.. If the season lasted for 10 more games I would have fancied our chances..

But it doesn't so, if we manage to keep our best CB and the rest of our team fit this year, I have every confidence we can at the very least still be in it, when the anniversary of Hillsborough comes round, ie 4/5 games left..

English Giants Fight It Out For Giovinco
Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs are all fighting it out to sign Juventus wonderkid Sebastian Giovinco, according to sources in Italy and England.

I've seen this kid play a few times but only against other U21's. He looked like he was on a whole different level from his fellow italian youngsters. I think it would be a great signing for us as Giovinco is quite a versatile player. But he probably wouldnt come cheap.

If we could get this kid for under 10 million then i'd be pretty excited.

Maybe Dossena can put a good word in for us?
