Just saw on Skysports news that Robbie Keane was left out of the 19 man Spurs roster for yesterdays friendly match in Spain. Could that mean he's on his way to Anfield?

It would be such a big signing for this club.

Leto poised for Greek switch
Thursday 24 Jul 2008

Liverpool's Argentinian midfielder Sebastian Leto is set to spend next season out on loan with Greek side Olympiacos.

The 21-year-old made four appearances for the Reds last season and has been assured that he still has a long-term future at Anfield by manager Rafa Benitez.

Leto told the Greek media: "I spoke with people at the club and the decision is to leave and to play somewhere else on loan for one season.

"I have some offers from Italy and Spain but Olympiacos is the best club for me at the moment.

"I spoke with Rafa Benitez and he told me that he wants me, but I can't stay without the correct passport.

"He advised me to go somewhere else to play for one season and to return next summer. He is right."

Meanwhile, Benitez has snapped up two more promising youngsters to bolster his Anfield squad.

Spanish defender Emmanuel Mendy has joined on a three-year contract from Murcia Deportivo, while French striker David Ngog has penned a four-year deal to complete a move from Paris St Germain

Carragher hasn't got enough pace to play at RB he has even said that himself.

If arbeloa does go then maybe Rafa should consider using Darby, he has played well in pre-season and is a local lad who has been at the club since he was 10 so he knows the liverpool way

Good idea but I don't want Carragher being left out because he's as good as skrtel and agger.

Carragher will play nearly every game when fit this season, he is to valuble to leave out of the team

Looks like this will more than likely be our defence but as mentioned carra will switch to right back for Skrtel quite a bit
