Berbatov > Keane
Berbatov is class, his technique and balance is incredible where as Keane is again an average player that no respecting top 4 club would buy Also Keane should stay, Tottenham is his club if he leaves he is making a mistake...........although i would like him to move to liverpool just so i can laugh at you lot

Yeah we should try and get the Keane done as soon as possible. Spurs wont want to lose their best two players/strikers. If we get Keane first then it'll put them under pressure and might think twice about selling Berbatov. If berbatov goes utd then they might reconsider selling keane. In which case we'll get Silva instead
its a win win situation

i wouldnt say he is a better buy
different players altogether keane is one of the best in-the-box poachers, where as berbatov is more of a layed back genious (when he wants to be). wouldnt say either is more or less valued than the other, since they bring different playing styles to the game have liverpool even got 20 million to spend? sounds like not if you beleive half the sky sports reports

German wonderkid looks ahead to a bright Anfield career
Liverpool have signed another talented young player - this time, from Germany. German wonderkid Christopher Buchtmann has spoken for the first time of his excitement at beginning life at Liverpool. The 16-year-old Borussia Dortmund man has been plucked out of Die Bundesliga by Rafa Benitez, after Liverpool’s extensive scouting team recommended him. Buchtmann is one of Germany’s most talented young players, and can either play on the left side of defence or midfield. He has already experienced the Anfield atmosphere when invited over for the League Cup clash against Cardiff, and the teenager admits he has never experienced anything like it. “When the fans start to sing, you do not know what to say,” Buchtmann told RevierSport. “I want to spend some time at Anfield. Apparently Steven Gerrard sometimes visits the junior games and talks with the players. “My whole life I have had enough English to survive, but if I had known I would need a Liverpudlian accent, I would probably have been more attentive at school!” Buchtmann was well ahead of his peers at Dortmund, being thrown into the A team three years ahead of schedule. Liverpool agreed to sign the youngster at the start of 2008. |

Is it good that we are signing all these obviously talented kids form overseas?
I'm not English but if the clubs want to keep their English fna base I'd expect them to keep bringing in English talent. |

![]() Olympiakos are reportedly in talks with Liverpool over the signing of midfielder Sebastian Leto. Leto joined The Reds last summer from Lanus but has struggled for first-team opportunities since his switch. The Argentine has previously been linked with a move away from Anfield, with rumours suggesting he could be used as part of a swap deal for Espanyol's Albert Riera. However, fresh reports claim Leto, 21, could be set to join Olympiakos for a fee in the region of €1.6million (£1.3million) after the Greek champions held discussions with Liverpool over the weekend. ------------------------------------------------------------------------Not long now until the game, cant wait |
