I think everyone has got the wrong end of the stick. Rafa didnt say ' there will definetelyy be 2 signings at the end of the week'. He said they were working hard to bring in two more signings. We have to accept that one is more than likely Barry and the other Keane.
Just for any who didnt know our next two fixtures will be aired on channel 5 FC LUCERNE half 6 wednesday WISLA KRAKOW about the same time saturday Last edited by MaschPotato; 15-07-2008 at 09:23 AM.. |

Reds are the greatest says target.
by Ben Blackmore, 15 July 2008 Reported Liverpool target Borja Valero has issued something of a come-and-get-me plea to Rafa Benitez, proclaiming: ‘There is no greater club than Liverpool’. The Mallorca midfielder, released by Real Madrid last year, has emerged as a central midfield option for Benitez as Aston Villa continue to delay over Gareth Barry. Spanish media have linked Liverpool to the 23-year-old, who was a major reason behind Mallorca's acceleration up La Liga last season. Valero would be a far cheaper option than Barry, and he revealed he would be hugely interested in a a switch to Anfield. "There is no greater club than Liverpool,” he stated. “I will remain at Mallorca until they tell me otherwise. If Liverpool say they want me then I am very flattered by it. "Mallorca would have preferred to keep the bulk of the players that did so well last season but they are a selling club. "I always want to win things and progress as a footballer." |

![]() Man Utd will be always be great with or without Ronaldo, as the great man said (Cantona) You lot be lucky to finish 3rd, you have shown no improvement over the last 3 years domestically and this season you arent even buying anyone decent........oh sorry you might be buying Barry ...........for £18m ![]() We will always challange for the league title but the best you lot can hope for is to finish in the top 4 .............oh and also to qualify for the Champions league then play 4-5-1 and try to fluke your way to another CL trophy
