Ok then answer me this

Finnan + 17 million for Barry

or X amount for Ronaldinho? (I think he'd be cheap now)

Youd rather have Barry for 17m + Finnan then like 25-20 for Eto'o and Ronaldinho?

But Ronnie would demand double what Barry will, so it kinda makes Ronaldinlalalalare expensive..

I don't think he'd demand anything, I reckon he'd just be ecstatic to be given a chance to play with a club like us.

Plus, If he joined us... $$$$$$$$$$$$ in merchandise.

I can't see it.

After his last season he'd not be signed by anyone demanding high wages.

You'd be surprised, he's not exactly going to take a 50% pay cut... We have a wage structure, Torres had to take a 20% pay cut from Atletico Madrid... Imagine what Ronaldinho would have to from Barca..

Good point.

Would you take him if he took the paycut?

REDS AGREE FEE FOR GUTHRIE MOVE
Steve Hunter 11 July 2008

Liverpool have agreed a fee with Newcastle United for the transfer of Danny Guthrie to the North East.
The former Academy player, who spent last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, will now discuss personal terms with Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan before finalising the deal.

Liverpool FC Head of Press Ian Cotton said: "We have agreed a transfer fee with Newcastle United for the transfer of Danny Guthrie.

"We have now given Newcastle permission to speak directly with the player."

********

Shame to see the lad go but he never had a chance of breaking into our midfield it was far to strong

With the new GK signing today the rumors could be true about him joining Boro

He's a CB on the game btw.
He's a winger in winning eleven

Although there's no way for it to happen, i'd much rather have Ronaldinho.

I think eto'o is semi-injury prone over the last season or so.

Ronaldinho would fit much better as a second striker. Eto'o is more of a guy that likes to play up front and use his pace.
