Tottenham Hotspur assistant manager Gus Poyet says the club 'can't afford' to lose Robbie Keane.

The striker has been linked with a move to Liverpool, with reports claiming Rafa Benitez wants to pair the Irishman with Fernando Torres.
Having sold Jermain Defoe to Portsmouth in January, Poyet is aware the club can not risk depleting their attacking options any further.
And Poyet admits it is vital that Keane is at White Hart Lane next season to continue his profitable partnership with Dimitar Berbatov.

well he's a great player, when he does play i see him making a impact. he just has to take good care of himself and if he stays fits he can do great things for the club.

lol, i no a leads fan that is also Australian. He also standed on line to get his signature on his Leeds jersey (while Kewell was at Leeds)

As long as Gala has good medical staff Kewell will do well. Kewell has said one of the biggest factors in his bad recoveries was that the Liverpool medical staff kept mis-diagnosing him and just screwing him up even more. It's also good news for Socceroos fans, since Turkey is geographically in Asia, he'll be able to fly back for the qualifiers

Is it me or does it seem like this summer has been dull in regards to big transfers? The only big transfer i can think of is Deco moving to Chelsea. Other than that, nothing has happened. I dont see why Villa want to keep Barry if he doesnt want to be there.
