Babel got a few from the wing last season plus Van nisterroy did well coming from holland so maybe we should take a risk like we did with torres

If we signed Villa we wouldn't have enough money for a decent winger i would rather we sign a quality winger like Silva and bring in a decent striker like Hunterlar (who wouldn't cost as much as villa) as back up to torres

Thats actually realistic with the transfer funds Rafa got...

We should hope for more money to get all of them (except Huskey and Heskey :P) ... although with the Yanks it's kinda unlikely

We should get Villa, Silva AND Van Der Vaart, atleast

We should also forget Barry and keep Alonso There's been quiet about Barry lately, and Juve are rumoured to be looking for someone else, instead of Alonso, incase Barry doesn't go to LFC

will be interesting to see who we will keep in our team when the new stadium is here maybe:
Reina
Carra
Agger
Skrtel
Mascherano
Babel
Gerrard
Torres

Hopefully all of these will still be here any one got the merseyside masters on?

I would love to see Huntelaar as a red. I think a big bid for him would be well worth it. But i dont see him being much cheaper than than Villa. his numbers for Ajax are incredible and i think overall he has a better eye for goal than Kuyt, even when he was playing for Feyenoord.

The stadium won't be built for years.
If Carragher is still playing then it wont be for us. If it is for us it'd be as like a 41 year old reserves captain.

The work has started and scheduled for 2011 Carra will be like 33- 34 then. he may be on the bench behind carra and skrtel but he would never be transferred to another club. he wouldnt want to be.

Barry: It's time for me to move on
Gareth Barry remains desperate to join Liverpool and has blasted Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill for making no effort to persuade him to stay.

Barry: Desperate for Anfield move

But despite his pleas to the Villa hierarchy to allow him to leave, the Midlanders have remained entrenched and rejected a reported £15million bid from the Reds earlier this month.

Barry said: "My mind's made up, I want to join Liverpool.

"There's no going back, it's time for me to move on. I'm desperate to play Champions League football and that's why I have to leave Villa."
O'Neill has been openly critical of Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez over his pursuit of the Villa skipper.

But despite O'Neill's public posturing, a scornful Barry insists nothing has been done to get him to remain at Villa Park.

"Villa kept saying they wanted me to stay but I have not heard from the manager for weeks," he claimed.

"It's seven weeks now since the season finished but while the gaffer's found time to be a pundit for the BBC at Euro 2008, he hasn't found the time to speak to me.

"Have Villa offered me anything to try to persuade me my future is at Villa Park, not Anfield? Not a thing."

Carra would be 33-34 by the time its built, and I can't see him moving to another club.. So he could still be playing for us..

Plus, that Keane deal may not be too bad, he knows where the goal is and is probably better than Crouch..
