Arrf, you twunt!
![]() That kit, plus the way the design was on the back. I just preferred our all blue one with Fly Emirates on it. Utds current one looks stupid with the stripes at the back too, strange yes, but they just irritate me. Last edited by ForeverBlue'86; 08-11-2007 at 03:35 PM.. |

I was going by home kits, but yes, exactly what I mean, an speakin of away kits, their 1993'ish away kit was ugly as fark too.
You want bad kits, our tangerine an graphit kit with COORS on it was absoloutely disgusting, an that red diamond away one with Commodore on it was a close 2nd, yuck. Last edited by ForeverBlue'86; 08-11-2007 at 03:53 PM.. |

If you look back at details of European Cup campaigns in the 1970’s and 1980’s see names like Dynamo Kiev, Red Star Belgrade, Dynamo Dresden and Steau Bucharest people tend to view then now as weaker sides based on their current reputation in European football. People forget that in this period players from Eastern Europe were far less inclined to move to Western European clubs than they are today, so it wasn’t unusual to see teams like Dynamo Kiev with the European Footballer of the Year in their starting line-ups (pretty unthinkable nowadays). The Red Star Belgrade team from the early 1990’s formed the backbone of the Yugoslavian national team and players like Vladimir Jugović, Siniša Mihajlović, Dejan Savićević, Robert Prosinečki and Darko Pančev were world-class players at that time. |

Sort of backs up the point that teams of the past have no chance whatsoever in todays continental competition

Fulham tonight, at anfield. A win is a must.
From what i've seen and heard our starting XI will look like this... --------Crouch-------------------Kuyt--------- ---Babel---Mashcerano---Gerrard---Benayoun--- ---Riise---Hyypia------Carragher------Finnan--- ---------------------Reina--------------------- Subs: Torres (likely to come on) Kewell (likely to come on) Arbeloa Fabio Aurelio Voronin Lucas Leto Should be an interesting one... I'm backing a 2-0 win, Crouch and Kewell the scorers, or atleast Kewell with an assist he's in top form atm.

well ofcourse reina ain't gonna not play unless its the carling cup against a bad team and when pennant gets back from injury him and benayoun will swap around, mascherano (really hard to spell) and xabi alonso are both great players so they'll swap around and finnan well once and a while him and arbeloa will swap but arbeloa is still class so it doesn't matter
