Europe is our only hope for anything.

The Turkish league is in ruins. We got completely jewed in every derby so far.

The refereeing is ridiculous and FIFA has to investigate. We are sending out our U-20 team this week in protest, because there is no point in trying, when we get ****ed every game.

It was'nt really Arsenal's record but more so Juve's aswell

I don't think so...

I think Juve was the only other team to win 7-0 against Olympiakos other than Arsenal against Sparta at the time.

but now Liverpool have the 8-0 record.

But that's just for the Uefa Champions League...this does'nt include the ECC of old.

Yeah, i heard the commentator say Liverpool had a good score in the old ECC too

11-0 or something ridiculous, but that was back in the 70's

Yeah back then, I think there was a huge gap between the big teams like Liverpool, Madrid, Internazionale, and what-not compared to the other small tier teams making it in to the ECC, which made for some big score line games in favour of the bigger clubs.

I don't remember the actual score lines or teams, but I remember reading it all up on this history of Uefa on some site.

I think the 92/93 season was the first one. can't remember who won, either Marseille or Milan.

I heard it was the opposite...thats how teams like Malmo and Red Star and Steaua made it to finals and whatnot.

Yeah true, but it would be so random, since you only get the winners of every country participating and what-not.

It would'nt be like 4 from EPL, 4 from La Liga, 4 from Serie A...but only 1 from each to be contested.

If you look at the clubs Malmo faced up to the final against Nottingham Forest, they were hardly as good as a team like Malmo from the Swedish league.

There were no real seedings back then...which is why it's better now in my opinion, as you get more quality matches and not rapings of smaller clubs...unless your Beskitas
