Gotta say Lucas was poor in the centre compared to his counterparts. Plus Govou showed up Insua god knows how many times to count, then you have Lyon's goalies performance springing to mind it was great. All this and they had Cris out after being kneed in the head and then booked when it was just an accident. 2 more games and Rafa's out.

Rafa's got to go simple as, his times up.

If Rafa is not sacked in the next week, believe me there will be protests.

Fat waiter must go.

Not looking good for you lot at the moment. But just put it this way if you beat United this weekend, everything will be looking up from there, so it's not all bad.

Oh and to the people saying Rafa for the sack, you really think thats the best thing to do, sack your manager a few days before the United - Liverpool game

Mascherano was outstanding tonight lalala.

Tonight is a key word, he was OK last Saturday, but that's only been 2 games. Other than that he's been pretty poor. Carra needs to get his act sorted, this isn't the lalalalaing circus, step up or don't play.

Win the next match, simple as that.

Rightly or wrongly, Rafael Benitez is teetering on the edge tonight. A loss against the mancs and he'll be gone i think.

Yea that's fair, I said in the match thread he's been poor this season but finally put in a top class performance again.

Carragher's had his chance to get sorted, he needs a spell on the bench.

Yes, but to sack him now, right before a crucial game like this would cause much more disruption and uproar in the dressing room, not needed right before the game against United.

I think Rafa should be gone before that game to be honest, tomorrow morning would be perfect, then we can then look for a new manager.

Mourinho for me. But he wouldnt come though, he'd want money to spend in the transfer market and we havent got a pot to p!ss in soo...in reality we lalalaed because no world-class is gunaa wanna manage a team with no money so.....do the maths

Were fighting for a top 6 finish and a place in the Europa League but fingers crossed we'll hopefully get that, Debrecen don't look to tricky.

To be fair, a Europa League win would probably save his job.

Sacking Rafa will be a mistake..

There are eleven players on that pitch who are paid to play football.. They are a better team than Lyon.. Our best player was a nineteen year old making his second appearance.. What does that say?.. This is practically the same lalalalain team from last season, Rafa's not changed anything.. So why aren't they playing well?.. It's down to the men on the pitch..

The crowd was lalalalae, they didn't do their job.. What happened to the glory nights at Anfield, where the fans sing their hearts out.. It was almost as if they weren't there..

We are in a blip, we've had injuries, but we should still be able to win games.. Some players need to pull their fingers out and start playing to the level they know they can do.. Rafa isn't blameless, but he's in a tough situation..

A win on sunday and all will be forgotten..

Carra and Skrtel have both been terrible this season, more so Skrtel . No win on Sunday= Rafa has to go. It's become too much. As D-Smith said, exactly like Houllier, now we're taking steps backward. Rafa's caution and quite poor decision making has to be something that has been costly ,especially this summer.

I think it would do us the world of good, so we wouldnt have to play That waiters Lalalala style and set-up, I think the players would feel a weight of thier shoulders and go out and show what they can do without the fat waiter on the line barking orders and the sitting down writing the F**kin shoppin list on his piece of paper the lalala

hmmm. I'm not sure arguing with Dean is the best thing for my blood pressure right now.
