Pretty much our only option if he is. Means our line-up is easy to guess bar left back.

I'd hope so. He looks like a new player there. Stick Kuyt behind Torres.

Not really, Kuyt can go out there with the likes of Babel/Voronin/N'Gog joining Torres

Another Midfielder could come in, pushing Gerrard up behind Torres with Kuyt out wide. etc.

Though the most obvious is Babel on the right tbh.

Wasn't expecting Masch to start anyway but Yossi could be a big loss if he's out.

Hopefully Babel can keep up his good vain of form and slot in on the right and do a job for us.

Rafa won't say but some people seem to think he will play some part in the Sunderland game after the international break.

AGGER TO MAKE CITY RETURN

Good news. Doubt he will play a part against Chelsea though.

Saudi Arabian sports investment company F6 have revealed that they are in talks with Liverpool co-owner George Gillett to buy part – or all – of his stake in the club.

Dirk Kuyt closes in on Ian Rush's Liverpool milestone - Goal.com

Quote:
“To have the chance to maybe draw level with someone like Ian Rush is unbelievable,” Kuyt told The Mirror. “He is one of the biggest names in the history of Liverpool Football Club and it would give me a great feeling if I could manage to do that.
Quote:
“It is nice to get personal things, but for me the most important thing is winning trophies together. The milestones are nice, but if you don’t have anything to go with them, like a trophy, then it is not the same.
"Don’t get me wrong, individual honours are nice, but it is all about the team winning.”

Kuyt is already a legend for me

Quality vid that mate. I take it that they will be doing a vid with all the top footballers who are sponsored by adidas like Messi and Kaka.

There was an interesting question proposed on one of the football shows here tonight and the question asked was whether Liverpool SHOULD go under Arab ownership. Mark Bosnich, former Manc, said "no, it goes against the tradition of Liverpool". I for one disagree with him and i wonder how arab ownership is different to any other foreign ownership. He also said that the arab owner revolution in english football is mostly for clubs like Chelsea and Man City but yet i wonder why should we allow them to be the only ones with the incredibly rich arabs who love to splash the calalalala's going to be hard to keep Torres in the future with the current mob. Thoughts?

STATEMENT FROM GEORGE GILLETT & TOM HICKS

Responding to recent speculation about the Club's ownership structure, a spokesperson for George Gillett and Tom Hicks, owners of Liverpool Football Club said:

"The owners have jointly retained Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Rothschild to evaluate the possibility of new investors injecting equity into LFC.

"However, the process is at an early stage, there is no agreement with any party and reports to the contrary are wholly inaccurate."

Could be left midfield, Gerrard centre midfield and Benayoun behind the striker but yea he played there in the carling cup last week.
