Per capita, Tab Ramos by a long shot.

Most people who have watched the U.S team for a long time consider him the most skillful player ever to come out of the U.S

The modern game is becomng different now, so it's hard to compare present players.

Honestly I am just talking of what I've seen. i know who Tab Ramos is, but I've much more seen McBride play. I've barely seen harkes play, but much more than Ramos.

Plus Ramos is Uruguayan, despite playing for USA and being a citizen...he couldnt eb considered 'our' product really.

McBride is probably the most highly regarded American player outside the US.Maybe him and Friedel.

Friedel slipped my mind. Still it's hard to compare skillwise outfielders and Keepers.

Yea.I think Goalkeeping might be America's greatest position, though. At least in the current history.

If Dempsey continues to impress this season, he could wind up at a major. With Neville and Scholes on last legs and Hargreaves not the healthiest, I wouldn't be shocked to see Manchester fleece Deuce from the Cottagers under the right circumstances to bolster their midfield line. Of course, this would also mean that Fulham didn't beat the drop and also that Dempsey continued or even improved on the solid season he's having currently.

I just don't know.He has the skills, but I don't think he'd break into MANU.Scholes and Hargreaves are CMs,not a position Deuce plays. They're set for strikers, and he wouldn't be filling in for Neville at right back. The wings already have Ronaldo and Nani,so no MANU.

He was originally an attacking midfielder.....

Originally.
If he would play for MANU he would need to impress to insure a spot.I'm almost positive Deuce wouldn't exactly thrive in that position.

Has anyone been watching the Women's WC? I'm watching the U.S. Women getting shredded like never before. 4-0 down to Brazil in the second semifinal. They're in a different class.

Wow, thats pretty shocking.

The U.S did play down a "man" for the whole second half

And the u.S scored an own goal.

2 things just deeply disturbed me.

1. Arnaud's Red, Vagenas collapses, holds his knee for 2 seconds, sees the red, immediately springs up.

2, and most importantly:

Wynalda: I liked the overlap

Smyth: yea but--

Wynalda: i don't want to hear your yabbling (if that's even a word)

Smyth: If he doesnt cross it in it doesnt matter wlalalalaves out of the way

Wynalda: ill show it to you.

WHAT A ****ING lalalalalalaBAG.

I just wrote an email to ESPN

Quote:
Wynalda has been degrading Tommy Smyth all season. Very recently in the KC v. LA match, Smyth had a valid point, as always, and Wynalda says to him: "I don't want to hear your yabbling."
Eric Wynalda is the least knowledgable, unintelligable soccer commentator to work for your network. As a wholehearted soccer fan, it is a shame to hear his arrogance and completely erroneous comments on every match.
Please take into consideration, and thank you.
