But Lampard was offered HUGE amounts of cash, i bet that helped him stay at the club

If chelsea truly valued him they would have offered him a 5 year contract ASAP

Eh? He explained it in his interview - it was nothing to do with the money at all, in fact him, Kenyon and blonde bint interviewing him were discussing that whole factor that's always bought up in the media. I can't be arsed to explain it to you, but in a nutshell, his decision to delay a decision was mostly due to the death of his mother. He was thinking of leaving to get away from the memories (And no he didn't mean it in a bad way), in the end he was going on about the support he got from the players (Game Vs Manure for one).

For a footballer, their careers are very short, i'm sure money might have crept in, he's got 2 kids now and needs to be financially secure in the future, and this is his last big contract as he's 30 years old. Chelsea did offer him a contract before, only it was a 4 year one - he's come to a decision and he's staying, and I guess when he is 35, he'll have the option of a 1 year rolling deal like Maka did.

I hope you're just having one of your spacky moments here...

We deserve every penny back from him and in all honesty, he shouldn't be allowed to play until he does so. Whether or not he's pulled himself together after his own wrong doings doesn't concern me the slightest bit, he jeopordised his own future here and jeopordiesed the clubs image, and had to be released.

I'm sure Mutu will be very professional over this.
