Theres alot of mixed reaction to him.

Personally, I find it sickening how our fans treat the fella. He might not be the Shevchenko of Milan, but he's Chelsea, many fans blame him for Jose' "mutual consent" (Which we all know means he was sacked).

I clapped him off when he left the field, there were pockets of fans that did boo him though.

Wow, Drogba got red carded for an accident!!!!! And we're still just stuck with draws at home!!!!! Well, life isn't getting any better
No, Drogba got his 2nd yellow card for the accident. A high boot into someones face is worthy of a yellow card, even if it was an accident. He got his first yellow card for running up to and protesting the referee when a call didnt go Chelsea's way cuz thats what they always do. Cry and surround the referee to bully him into submission.

Im afraid its all downhill from here boys. The fans were booing the management during the game and chanting for Mourinho, disrespecting the hand that feeds them, the one that dragged them out of the gutter and into the spotlight in the first place. 2 goals in 12 games is hardly championship material and the squad is looking uncreative this season, workmanlike.

Soon Abramovich will have had enough and cut his losses, leaving Chelsea in a bankrupt situation, having to sell all theyre players with the team slipping into relegation like like Leeds.

Hold on a sec, are you trying to tell me just cause Romans bought us an helped engineer us to success that we have to accept every decision he makes?

Remind me what the clubs name is? "Chelsea"... not "Roman FC". Everyone at the club appreciates what he's done for us, he saved us from possible liquidation an cleared off all our debts an has been the catalyst to the success we've recently had.... but he's also getting far too involved an he's just sacked the best manager we've ever had an argubly the finest manager in the world, why should we just take that an accept it?

We've been very poor this season, but we have been without crucial members of the first team, it's all gone a bit lalalala up since Lampard got injured, aswell as Drogba (Then he gets a red when he returns)... Personally, I think the main man we're missing is Ballack. People slated him before but as soon as he got injured last season, we lost ground on United in the space of 2 games and got knocked out of Europe to the mickey mousers, having been an integral part of the team that got us past Blackburn in the FA Cup, got the winner against Porto in the CL an set up Drogs for his first goal in the CC final.

Abramovich isn't going anywhere, theres no reason for him too, an if he does, we will be far away from being bankrupt, I can assure you that.

All this nonsense about us being a loss making organisation is complete garbage. Someone WOULD take over IF Roman was to leave (HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely), we own a stadium on prime real eastate, have a squad worth millions and an increasing fan base... (We'd probably be taken over by a yank following the take overs of Utd, Mousers an Villa).

Roman still seems to think he'll start to make a profit anyway, he's a businessman, don't think he became a billionaire by being an idiot.

^^^^ Red devils is right. How are you going to find a new owner that wont have to either cut down on some of the players wages, or sell some.

Really the ref was being kind giving him yellow for that. He'd still have been on if he hadn't been booked already. No way the ref could have let it go. Can't imagine anyone kvetching over that sending off...

The new owner... Utds, Madrids, AC's, Barcas etc... wage bill isn't exactly cheap is it? They manage.

And from what i've heard from other Chels, the books show that all of our overspending is down to huge outlays in transfers... we are apparently actually making enough money to run the club. Wages are running at 74% of turnover, not an excessive figure, the new owner would simply reign back on new player spending and we would then run as any other club.... the average business turnover is 20% I think.

As the turnover will be £20-30m higher from the increased TV money this year (Apparently) plus the £17.5m profit on player sales that percentage should have come down a bit too...

Interpret it how you like mate, but we'd be far from a Leeds like situation.

There's no need to buy players in the future anyway regardless of cash or no cash with our academy starting to produce

Yep, our youngsters look exceptional. I haven't visited the new ground, but used to go to the Wreck every so often with my mates just for a laugh to see the youths play (Plus there was always someone from the first team playing), this is BY FAR the best batch of youngsters we've ever had.

Stoch is probably the main one to look out for, Sinclairs starting to produce, but Stochs the unknown one.

Wow! I'm WELL angry I didn't go tonight, what a FANTASTIC result. 2-1 again at the Mestella, how many teams can say they've done that in consecutive seasons??

Hopefully this is the turn around for us. Carvs, Essien an Drogs back, an Lamps an Ballack still to come, get in!

can u say fortunate? not lucky but fortunate

Chelsea had 2 good chances and scored them both thats it. Valencia missed a BIG chance to go 2-0 up bfore chelsea scored to make it 1-1, but chelsea won this game bcause of Drogba, simple as. he won it on his own, he was magnificent.

chelsea dont even need a manager, just put drogba out there and there u go Valencia atleast deserved a draw though and the offside goal was unlucky cause it was very close, BUT still an offside

ohwell Drobga is missin for chelsea in the league

Mate lalalalala off, you're doing my rag in big time on here.

The whole team were fantastic. Drogba played well, Joe Cole was fantastic, Maka swept up, JT cleared everything (Can't fault him for the goal, Villas a tremendous player), Carvalho did the same etc...

Valencia don't give much away at the Mestella, they usually play 2 defensive mids an suffocate their opponents, so to get TWO victories there in the space of 2 seasons is quite phenomenal.

And yet you still come in here making excuses for us winning? Get lost you lalalalalalala.

Now we need to build on this.

It's a huge result for the TEAM, achieved in very difficult circumstances, and a testimony to the steel that's been built in to us over the past few years (It'd give Claudio a bit of credit as well obviously as Jose). There is a real passion and commitment in there, epitomised by JT, Drogs, Percy, Maka etc... That's what matters, not lalalala about "entertainment". We want to be winners, and we have that within us.

Bollox, Valencia deserved nothing, we scored two, they scored one, end of story you lalalala.

Valencia were not better, an the difference was more than just Drogba, it was a lion like performance from JT giving the circumstances at the club an his own health an Joe Cole was a marvel in Midfield.

Stop being a pillock, yet again you're trying to undermine Chelsea, clear off.
