Yes he is, you can count on him unlocking a team that are sitting back, and he doesn't go missing in big games, I'm looking forward to sunday, but I aint looking forward to Drogba.

As an alternative to selling out the Bridge's name, we should just offer naming rights for the East and West stands. The MHL certainly shouldn't be renamed, nor should the Shed, but having the East and West stands sponsored is preferable to renaming the whole bloody ground.

The West Stand is the flashiest in any case, and I'm no fan of the East Stand after it decimated us financially

The 97 Cup final programme, taking a look back through my collection of programmes.

I've got all 5 FA Cup programmes from our winning trips to Wembley, although admittedly the 1970 Cup final programme belongs to my father. He couldn't make it up to Manchester for the replay, so it's not quite the complete collection but it's still fairly impressive

I've still got my ticket stubs from the two cup finals I've been to.

Renaming the stands would get nowhere near the exposure in terms of sponsorship.

Too bad, renaming the ground is a horrid idea.

Sure is. Soon all history in England will be gone. Of course, I guess history replaces history in the end.

There's nothing historic about corporate sponsorship

It's fine to sell out naming rights for a new stadium like Arsenal's bowl, just a way to off-set the costs and new stadiums have no culture or history associated with them, but historic grounds like St James' park and the bridge shouldn't have their names sold out.

That is very true. I guess there are never long term corporate sponsorships.

I really hope we don't remain the Bridge, it's been our name for so long, we don't want to turn it into a corporate name like the Emirates Stadium, we need to keep the Bridge.

Anyway, United should be good, the diamond should be Essien CDM, Lamps/J.Cole LM/CAM, and Ballack RM? (soz, haven't watched the last two Chelsea games, shocking, I know)

CDM - Essien
CM - Lampard
CM - Ballack
CAM - J.Cole

I think, I could be wrong

So Chelsea's transfer ban has been suspended.
Kind of makes the whole point of the ban pointless by doing that.

The East stand is a terrible place to sit; no atmosphere at all, loadsa people chatting away or or texting on their phones. Never heard a song there before.

Indeed. They better not rename the stadium - but I can accept renaming the West and East Stands.

Glad the transfer ban has been suspended, but who would we buy in January before the ban comes in?

Big game at the weekend too, and what a match it should be. I'm predicting 1-1, but if anyone wins, I reckon it will be Chelsea.

It's been that way for ages, as long as the sitters stick to the east and west stands I'm not that bothered, what irks me is when they get seats in the ends.

Ahh, memories... I remember every goal as if it had been yesterday. Though I would even settle for a 2-0 on Sunday

I'll settle for any score, so long as it's the right result.
