The papers know about as much as the fans do about John Terry's situation, which quite frankly is nothing.

This was posted on Sky Sports yesterday anyway, does it sound like a man prepared to leave the club he loves?

Certainly not mate, i have no doubts about his commitment but it would certainly be nice to here a rebuttal from JT's camp.

I thought he did last week. He's always stated he'd love to remain a one club man, and he already rejected Manchester City back in January, so I think it's quite understandable that he hasn't come out reiterating his status to the gutter press when he's already done it numerous times in the past.

John Terry is already set for life at Chelsea. He's playing for the team he loves, acting as captain and he's adored by all Chelsea fans. There's no way he'll jeopardise that, never seen him as the greedy sort either. Something he most wants to win is the Champions League, even more so after his heartbreaking miss in Moscow. He'll most likely never get that at Man City, and he's approaching the twilight of his career.

Take it with a pinch of salt. Chelsea have rejected all bids, and that should be it. If anything, the most worrying side of this story is the fact Chelsea fans are questioning his commitment by asking for yet another rebuttal on his behalf.

He's not going to leave - City should just give up.

Zhirkov is in London for his medical then. It seems like it's going well

Sky Sports | Football | Premier League | News | Zhirkov flies in for medical

On another note, apparently we're interested in Wesley Sneijder too. Good move in my opinion... He's young, can play with either foot and more importantly, not as injury prone as Robben. Besides, I don't think he'll get much playing time in Madrid and certainly will not be a starter so he might want to move too.

And about Terry, I am not that worried, in fact I'm more worried about Ashley... But it would be a massive blow for us if any of them leave.

Ash is a worry, his head has in the past been turned by money and he is hardly a shed end icon at the moment, although everyone does recognize his quality.

Can't see Terry leaving Chelsea. I don't like the lad but there is no doubting his loyalty an commitment to your club.

"There is that blue blood going through him, but I think he's looking for a new contract [at Chelsea]. I think he's on about £140,000 a week so it's a massive improvement on his own contract.

"John Terry's had a few injuries as well, a few knocks and bruises and bumps, and perhaps could look to secure his future. So that's the thing I think would be the thing he would want to do reluctantly if Chelsea let him go."

Hopefully we seal the deal, brilliant signing, a player that we actually need instead of an overpriced star name.

Chelsea Football Club can confirm that we have reached agreement with CSKA Moscow for the transfer of Yuri Zhirkov.

The player is in London today and will join Chelsea subject to a medical and agreement of personal terms.

Chelsea | News | Latest News | Latest News | ZHIRKOV TRANSFER AGREED

Carlo's remarks in the press conference look to have forced the club to confirm the transfer before they were planning to

Interesting interview, his English is rather like that of Scolari's and hopefully there will be an improvement over time.

Yeah, his English isn't the best at the moment but he's trying.

Zhirkov sounds like a great signing though. I doubt he'll replace Ashley Cole... and Malouda was playing well last season (well the second half of the season at least), so where will Zhirkov fit in?

Good transfer, nice bought!

Zhirkov is a good player who can defend, attack, cross and is fast.

His English is not bad considering he only started learning it a couple months ago. I'm feeling a BIT more confident now after that, Ancelotti is startin to grow on me

Good that we have Zhirkov now, just makes me wonder what's going to happen with Malouda

Would Ancelotti play the same system as he did with Ac Milan?

4-3-1-2

Essien Ballack Obi Mikel

Lampard

Drogba Anelka

That wasn't his AC Milan formation this was it

To express it another way

4-3-2-1

He only played 4-3-1-2 when Berlusconi nagged him about playing two strikers.
