this forum got pretty hot pretty quickly.

Though back on topic, I kinda agree with Drogs about Ballack. He'll never find a place in Chelsea, and I know he's class, but his days are running by quickly.

No they aren't.

Ballacks an important player IMO. He's the only one who can take a decent set piece (For us at the very least) an he's so underated here.

Personally, I felt our title challenge an charge for Europe went after he got injured. He got the winner against Porto (Along with another important player in Robben), he scored the winner against Blackburn in the FA Cup an he also played a major role in us winning the Carling Cup (Again, so did Robben).

People say he's lazy an whatnot, I thought Lampard got a little bit of an advantage over him, first of all being Joses favourite player, an secondly he wasn't given the freedom to play in his best position.

I can't wait for him to return, just the thing we need... i'm sure he'll spark a bit more quality into our midfield again.

What a result from the lads!

We could have had at least 10, a few penalties an that has to be the best performance i've seen so far this season, even Sheva got in on the scoring.

A world class performance from Frank today aswell. His passing, vision, and running off the ball were fantastic. A much better performance from Essien as well, playing much further forward with Mikel holding. Quality day.

Weren't too many City fans left at the end either!

Grant's impressed me so far...

Today's performance was class. It might just be exactly what Abramovich wanted.

First paragraph of my last post basically sums up how good we were (An they weren't exactly terrible, still had some chances an should have pulled one back at 2-0).

@CoDsteven... Henk Ten Cate has something to do with it. He's been with us for a couple weeks now an it's quite clear he's having an influence on the team. The performances have slowly gotten better an today we've just spanked a City team lying in 2nd place.

Under Jose, we'd probably have settled for the win at 2 or 3 nil, so props to Grant an Ten Cate. Looking good right now.

So if we beat Wigan and Arsenal and Man Utd draw, we're a mere 3 points off the top with both of them to play at home and 12 games gone.

We're in with a shout. Even now we're only 5 points off with 26 to go. Can't wait.

Why didn't they ban you for good? Biggest wind up merchant on here.

An we've got Wigan Away. We're that lucky we've already had to play Utd an Liverspain away aswell as Villa, Bolton, Boro an Reading all away.

About time we got a good run of easy games, an last season we didn't exactly rip Wigan apart at their stadium, last minute Robben goal saved our skins.

I certainly believe the SWP out van der Vaart in rumors though.

No, he plays in the middle. He can get wide though.
