To all football fans who say Chelsea was a small club before 2003, that we have never done anything before 2003, that we never had any fans before 2003, that stamford bridge was always half full before 2003, that our team was s___* before 2003, please choke on the below video.

Gianfranco Zola is a god, always will be, but the greatest Chelsea team is easily that of the 70's, followed closely by the team of the 90's.

The Sun says Alex to Milan for £10m, Kleber to Chelsea for £2m.

AC Milan plot Alex raid | The Sun |Sport|Football
Quote:
AC MILAN have upped their interest in Chelsea star Alex.

And the defender’s sale will provide Phil Scolari with cash to splash out on Brazil countryman Kleber.
Milan are desperate for a quality centre-back and have also expressed an interest in Arsenal’s William Gallas, 31.
But, at 26, Alex is a much better investment and the Italian club believe they can get the Brazilian for £10million.
That would give Blues boss Scolari funds to buy a replacement — and Santos defender Kleber is a bargain at just £2m.
Scolari gave Kleber his first international cap in 2001. Yet Chelsea face competition from Manchester City, who have the advantage of having Kleber’s friend Robinho already at the club.
Kleber, 28, said: “I had a year in Europe with Hannover and the experience was great.
“Robinho told me he was going to suggest me to the Man City board. If he gets me to play in Manchester, I will be thankful for the rest of my life.
“It would be a once-in- a-lifetime opportunity. I’d say ‘yes’ straight away.”
Sounds like another one of LFS flirtations with Portuguese speaking footballers..

But I think as long as he is just a backup, in other words, 4th(Behind JT,Ricky and Ivanovic) then it should be a good deal, that £10m can be used to help bring in a good winger/striker

Alex is a good footballer, why replace him with a player who would be sub standard? He has filled in well, with all our problems in the CB department of late selling Alex would be a step in the wrong direction.
