I have a question for the Arsenal fans, the real Arsenal fans.

Have you ever looked through other teams threads and compared them to our? I have noticed that it seems like there are more stupid internal arguments in our thread that the Chelsea, Liverpool, or Manchester United threads.

You're not the only one.

I have seen a fair share of petty arguments in the Liverpool and United thread, not so much the Chelsea one.

To be fair, the only reason these petty arguments happen on this thread, is because we seem to get, every now and then, a handful of stupid fans. The ones who come to mind are 'yodaddyalex' (who seems to know nothing about our club, with his idiotic comments), while 'ClintEastwood' used to cause a few problems on here.
The rest of the people on this thread seem ok. (a question mark over Arshavin-isCumin'

The three you mentioned standout most in my mind except I don't put a question mark over Arshavin-IsCumin, I don't think he supports Arsenal, just Arshavin. The Chelsea thread used to have a plethora of arguments, but after a couple of their supporters were banned it got real peaceful real quick. I haven't been it the United thread much lately or the Liverpool thread, but I do remember a while back it too used to have commotion and I assume it will pick up again if they don't turn their form around.

Truth is, these threads will get fans like that who come on here causing arguments, or acting stupid.

Because there are hundreds of people who come into this part of the forum, it is inevitable that some will be not to everyone's liking, you either just deal with it, or add them to your ignore list (if they really annoy you that much).

I myself do not use the ignore function, waste of time imo, what you have to remember is people will have opinions (even if they are idiotic ones at that). And what may seem idiotic to you, will be different in someone else's view.

I agree though that the trollers like the ex 'ClintEastwood', just do it for fun and a reaction, these are the ones that we would be better off without.

I remember when we played Celtic in the CL and we had what seemed like every Celtic fan in this thread starting unnecessary arguements.

One thing that people tend to not see is that the view expressed on here are in fact opinions. People like Arshavin-IsCumin can't see that fact and opinion are two different views and think that anything someone says is being said as matter of fact when its not.

Bolded part was all down to 'ClintEastwood', I don't think any Celtic fans had a problem with anyone else but him, in that incident.

Again I haven't seen enough posts from 'Arshavin-IsCumin' to judge him, like you have.

I'm not really judging him, its more of a gut feeling and just looking at the way he responds to peoples posts.

*Dons flame suit*

This is not going to be a popular decision but in order to help ease pressure on the database we are closing threads with posts over a certain amount. Feel free to create another Arsenal thread.
