Farewell Maldini...last champions league match for Il Capitano

I think Arsenal fully deserved the win, especially playing at the San Siro of all places. Milan were playing poorly, especially Ambrosini...it's a shame Milan weren't at full strength.

You know, when people wrote us off by saying we stand no chance against Milan in San Siro, I kept quiet, because I know, in football, anything can happen. So to my dear friends who are sitting in the corner, stunned and quiet, don't just blabber about who you think's going to win because in football, anything can happen. This was proved last night in San Siro, when a squad full of inexperienced youngsters outclassed a team full of experienced and argubly one of the greatest squads in europe. We deserved the win, i wont say 2-0 is harsh because we clearly deserved to win the game in the Emirates. Im happy that Fabregas played really well because It's been a while since he showed such a great performance and plus he was talking alot about how he wants to win the Champions league with Arsenal, and his performance shows he has the right spirit. A sad farewell for Maldini, one of the greatest CB's of Italy.

Now on the comments made on the thread lately. I dont understand why that Man Utd ( Dj ) fan wanted Arsenal to loose. Surely all Man Utd fans want Arsenal to stay in Champions league so we have more tournaments to concentrate on. Had we lost to Milan, all we would have would be the Premierleague, while Man U Have to concentrate on FA Cup, UEFA Champions League and the Premier league. I agree with the fact that this will be a major confidence boost and morale boost in both Premier league and the Champions league, and hopefully we can carry on with positive results. Well done Gunners, you've done us Londoneers proud.

Wasn't it you who were so damn sure of Arsenal beating PSV a year ago? Or was that someone else

I remember that. I was the one who said we should'nt be so confident since we have a weak team to play in the last 16. I never said we would beat them. If you want, you can read all my previous posts, you wont find a single post made by me claiming a victory before a match is played. I always give me views after a match is played. But you can check all my posts just to be satisfied.

The score could have been 4-0 actually.

Senderos open goal miss.

Hleb`s denied penalty

Even 5-0 if you add in Walcott`s decision to pass rather than shoot.

Does'nt matter really. We could be leading by more than 8 points in the league if our finishing was perfect. I dont really care by how much we win after the two legs in the champions league, a wins a win, we go through and now we face a new challenge...

Like I said, I wasn't sure it was you. But I am sure that an Arsenal fan here was 100 % sure of you eliminating PSV. And I rubbed it in his face afterwards.

You sure it wasn't you? Your name rings a bell

Nicely played Arsenal, although I don't whats the big deal, Milan was playing at max 60% of how they were playing last year's CL. First english to beat milan in the san siro, I don't think people could care less considering my first sentence.

Arsenal are interested in 18-year-old Atletico Madrid midfielder Ignacio Camacho. (Various)

It's times like these I wish Henry were here instead of that lalalalalala Adebayor. Henry would've made both of Ade's chances today.
