So you don't find it the least bit ironic that 3 days after the world ends because of a diving Eduardo one of your biggest complainers of that event is caught diving?

How do you guys feel about Wenger not signing another defensive player?

I actually don't mind, were looking pretty good from our opening games and if we don't get any serious defensive injuries, until January, then we should be fine.
However I do feel we need to add in January, because the injuries are bound to roll in eventually.

Agreed, we've boosted our defensive option with Vermaelen, Gallas back on form with someone he can rely on next to him, Song has stepped up his game with Denilson doing the same. We should be fine if our injury curse dosen't strike again. Nasri coming back will be like a new signing

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas was left red-faced when he had firefighters rush to his £5million home after burning his dinner!

Neighbours called the Fire Brigade after smoke was seen billowing out of the Spaniard's apartment in Hampstead, reports The Sun.

Fire crews left when they discovered there was no emergency.

One of Fabregas' neighbours was quoted as saying in The Sun: "Cesc was really embarrassed. He apologised and said he had burnt something in the kitchen."

Arsenal duo pen long-term contracts

Arsenal have confirmed that midfielder Denilson and striker Nicklas Bendtner have both signed new long-term contracts with the club.

Brazilian ace Denilson made 51 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners last season, scoring three goals.

Danish frontman Bendtner was the top scorer in the Premier League aged 21 or under last season, scoring 15 goals from 27 starts
Glad to hear!

Nicklas Bendtner’s father and agent, Thomas, has revealed how his son turned down offers from Barcelona, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich before signing a five-year deal with the Gunners.

Bendtner senior said the 21-year old Denmark international admitted the interest but said a move away from Arsenal never entered calculations.

"Many clubs wanted to sign Nicklas, and some of them are among the biggest clubs in the world,” Thomas said.

"It would have been very easy to find a new, great club for him, and when the biggest clubs join in, then it is really flattering for Nicklas. But still Nicklas was never in doubt, that what he wanted the most was to stay in Arsenal.

“It has taken a long time to finish the contract, but the two parties have never doubted, that they wanted each other in the end.

"He is so happy for his new contract, and the most important thing is, that he, in Arsene Wenger has a manager, who shows him a lot of confidence.

"Wenger gives Nicklas space and time to develop both as a person and a player, and that is really unique on football's top level. Nicklas feels, it is ideal for him to stay in Arsenal."

what a load of lalalala (don't believe for one bit inter and barca tried to sign him)

Ahh. Gutted we didn't get one last signing. We still need one more player, preferably a versatile one.

Who is a free agent?
