I've said this a couple of times now but Arsene really does need to dive into his transfer kitty and buy an already established strong player preferably a midfielder to take the pressure off Cesc (who I pesonally dont think can handle it). If you look at last year he had Hleb on the right, Flamini with him in the middle and Rosicky on the left, these players were all several years older than him with a lot more experience. But now we have Theo on the right, Denilson or Diaby in the centre and Nasri on the left. I'm a big fan of these players but in my opinion they are too inconsistent. So now all the pressure is on him to be the leader and show his troops the way. Go the Gooooooners.

its not wengers choice, the owners obviously are trying to make as much money as possible in profits and spend as little as possible on players. they dont want to sign any one else and wenger is forced to stick with the team he has

Wenger have spent in the past, so i don't think it is the case that he doesn't want to, but he probably doesn't have any money. Mind you Arsenal have spent on alot of youngsters, probably have to pay compensation for some of those. Not sure how they are paying for the Emirates either... im guessing something like 10-20m each year? just a guess

but i think it was Danny Fiszman that said this summer that if Arsene wanted £30m for a player he could have it so i dont think its the money thats the problem, i dont see why we dont take a gamble on Appiah, he wont cost anything other than his wages, we can have him now because hes a free agent and it wont do any harm to our title chances which are quickly fading.

petit, overmars, henry, hleb etc............. uv sold alot of players to them they will eventually take back fabregas" 1.Arent Henry and Hleb like 30? Hardly in their prime to be honest, possinly past it really. Plus Henry was at the club for a long time and wanted a new challenge. 2. Players are bound to leave if the club is winning trophies. If you were Adebayor and you were at Arsenal and lets say you didnt win a medal for 5 years, you would want to go elsewhere. if players are loyal they wont but Adebayor and Fabregas arent local, they dont really need to be loyal as they seem the time of players who'll want to leave if Arsenal are underachieving. 3. Just because players leave it doesnt make the club a 'feeder' club. If the Mancs were to sell Ronaldo, Rooney and Scholes would that make them a feeder club?

henry, viera, and cole, etc were all past their prime. the only examples you could say are bentley, anelka, etc. people who arsene probably didnt feel fit well into his system. calling arsenal a platform team is just ignorant really

Bentley wouldnt have got into our first team so it made no sense to keep him and Anelka was Anelka and would have always moved, only player that was past it really that was any good was Cole but he made it clear he didnt wanna stay but we got Gallas for him so it wasnt that bad
