But besides Lehmann....Gilberto, Diarra, Bendtner and most recently Diaby have voiced their concerns about playing time.

I don't want to see any of these players leave (well maybe Lehmann, he's been truly a pain in the *ss)...but perhaps some of these younger players should be loaned out???

Gilberto is sort of a different situation. If he can't accept his new role as backup defensive midfielder and fill-in center back...then I can certainly understand his desire to move on. We are just too deep for our own good at center midfield these days.

In my mind he's Arsenal's captain...Gallas can crowk. But yes you are correct, officially he is Arsenal's first Vice-Captain, Kolo Toure is the second Vice-Captain.
