Yes, I agree. Both are technically very good, and especially Vela is a great fighter. I like this type of football player.

Woulda liked to see Nasri down the wing for part of the game, as he was used mostly in the centre during the whole game, jus' to mix things up.

Didn't he even play CDM? At least it looked like it.

Denilson was playin' more DM then anythin, he's an attackin' mid so wouldn't of thought Wenger would wanna push him back.

Vela and I think people need to realise Bendtner isn't the best option, but far from the worst. Sure he's not starting material for a top 4 club, but he can pull off the sub work IMO.

Eboue was playin' alongside Denilson at CM, so either coulda pushed back and personally, Nasri seemed to drift towards the centre.

And sort your sig out.

Yeah, last season, he had 27 league appearances, and 20 were as a sub. I have a feeling he will be doing the same this year.

Nasri also went to the right wing sometimes. If I remember right, I think it was Diaby playing on the left wing.

Oh no doubt, I've always rated him well for his position at Arsenal and especially for Denmark.

As for Vela, I've always thought he just great. Last season for Osasuna he was one of their best players IMO really helped them climb out of relegation zone.

The Emirates Tournament? I might be getting confused with the Dubai Cup, but is that the one with Juventus, Real Madrid, and Hamburg?

I have no idea, isn't there a preseason tournament called the Dubai cup?

He definitely won't end up like Bentley because Jack seems grounded and at 16 he hasn't really started to develope the ego of older players. David started to think he was better than he really is and that is what made him go down the road he chose. Talking greasy about Arsenal and all that nonsense, I love how he all of a sudden says Tottenham are in his heart, but while he was at Arsenal it was the same story, complete moron in my opinion.

Regardless of our performances thus far, I wouldn't start to overhype any of the young players because we are playing local teams and a very poor Stuttgart teams. Stuttgart will play much better in the German season than that game so we didn't really get a look at anything special.

There is a horse race named the Dubai World Cup, but I am not sure about a preseason footy tournament.

You’ve got to admit that kind of talk makes it interesting though eh? It’s more interesting than listening to players reciting the same pre-written speeches written by his agent or the club.

Controversy is good. It’s like when there is a brawl amongst players and the commentator says “disgraceful scenes, nobody wants to see this”. Of course they do. You want to see you’re centre-half and their centre-forward grabbing each other by the throat once in while….also, when there’s a streaker on the pitch. I don’t know what they show in the USA but in England they focus on a section of the crowd or the corner flag so we can’t see what’s happening. How boring is that? If I want to see some girl running across the pitch and evading tackles from stewards then I’ll make those decisions myself.

I'm all about good entertainment, I only wonder how supporters feel when they see a player say there club is in his heart when he said the same thing at previous clubs. He was all about Arsenal and because he wasn't good enough to get on the field he all of a sudden needed to bad talk the club when its his own fault he was not good enough. He was happy at Blackburn and then when the manager leaves he is suddenly ready to leave and all of a sudden Tottenham are his heart.................I call bullsh** on that one.

Mate, That’s how football is going, the game is changing it isn’t 1986 anymore when players thought nothing of spending their entire career at the same club. I've spent 6 months banging on about player loyalty and all that but nobody listens.

How do you think Spurs fans felt when Sol Campbell was assuring them all season that he is a Spurs fan through an through and will sit down and discuss a contract at the end of the season, then we’re hearing on the radio and on TV that’s he’s being introduced as Arsenals new signing?

Or only last month when Robbie Keane was saying he’d play for Tottenham as long as the club wanted him, only to hand in transfer request two weeks later?

If he wasn’t good enough for Arsenal then as you say that’s down to him we're happy to have him regardless as to whether Arsenal fans consider him a reject or not.

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure and all that.
