At least it keeps you off the forums for a few hours so we can have some civil and mature posts where we don't use caps lock for almost an entire post

Meh, not my fault, I've been pretty busy over the last few weeks.

But pretty crappy game though, but at least Villareal-Benfica drew as well

Sir Alex Ferguson says Cristiano Ronaldo will be 'ok' to face Tottenham in Saturday's Premiership clash at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese ace has endured a difficult month following the death of his father, but has been training with the rest of the United squad this week.

Sir Alex revealed: "Cristiano has had a difficult few days but he's ok for Saturday. He trained yesterday and today."

Ferguson also confirmed that Ryan Giggs is to undergo an operation on Friday to repair the fractured cheekbone he sustained in Tuesday's draw with Lille.

"He has an operation today," said Ferguson. "He's fractured his cheekbone in three places and he'll have it plated."

Ferguson also expressed his dismay that Italian referee Stefano Farina failed to even stop play after Giggs had sustained the injury, adding that a further blow to Giggs' face could have led to a far more serious injury.

Report by Steve Bartram and Ben Hibbs, at Carrington.

Richardson Pens New Deal

Kieran Richardson has signed a four-year deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2009.

Richardson signed the deal at United's Carrington training base on Friday morning, on the day he celebrates his 21st birthday.

Kieran told ManUtd.com: "I am happy to commit my future to Manchester United, it’s the club where I want to be and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else."

The Greenwich-born player is primarily a midfielder but has gained recognition for his ability to adapt to the left-back role in place of the injured Gabriel Heinze in recent weeks.

"United is where I want to be. I couldn't imagine playing anywhere else."
Kieran Richardson

He made his Reds debut three years ago, just two days after his 18th birthday, in the Champions League against Olympiakos.

However, before the start of this season, he was yet to make a Premiership start for the club.

The catalyst in his career came when he spent the latter part of last season on loan with struggling West Brom.

His mature performances in the centre of midfield for Bryan Robson's Baggies saw him return to United as a key member of Sir Alex's squad. The United manager noted upon his return: "Kieran went to West Brom and came back a man."

Well, if he do go to Man U, he'll definitely need to do something special (great) for us fans to 'forgive' him.

Thought you'd want more than that.

OT,

Did anyone see Arsena's 'Penalty' just taken then? Pires tried to be clever and roll it forward to Henry, but then he miskicked the ball, and for some reason the ref gave a freekick to Man City

Game ended, 1-1.

I'm not gonna blame the ref or anything, but 2 stoppage minutes?! WHATE HELL IS THAT ABOUT?

There had been several substitutes, and many players that had been lying after being tackled. I was expecting like 4 minutes

But it's our own fault we let our opponents into the game every time, just as we did against City.

I knew this would happen, it was either Boca (FTL) or Man U who got to win.

Ruudaking can't feel to good now then.

I'M SO MOTHER PO'd RIGHT NOW!
