Gabriel Heinze was the match hero when his Argentina won away against Hungary in a friendly tonight. He scored the winning 2-1 goal.

About 3 minutes after Heinze's big talent Lionel Messi got a red card.

He's had some dangerous free kicks for us though. No goals yet unfortunately

I was talking about free kicks, of course I know he has scored (in his debut against Bolton, which we couldn't win later though )

He didn't score a header against Bolton

He actually scored the with his foot after an attempted headed effort landed at his feet

A minute before the interval and United struck the game’s first major blow. Giggs looped over a corner from the right, Mikael Silvestre headed the ball back into the area and there was Heinze, on his debut for the club, to hook the ball into the net.

I guess it's best for both parts. A bit sad though.

Win David Bellion's Signed Boots
Closing Date: 12:00 GMT, Wednesday September 14 2005

We've laid our hands on a pair of David Bellion's Nike Air Zoom Total 90 boots, exclusively signed by the French striker.

Being such kind souls, we're just going to give them away to one lucky winner!

That's right, they could be yours. And all at the cost of a correct answer to a simple question.

Manchester United v. Aston Villa
FA Barclays Premiership - 12.45. - Today

Preview

Second game of the season - first at home for United. It's just as important to win this one, as the premier against Everton, to maintain winning, which is what Sir Alex urges his players to do.

Despite our pleasant win last weekend, it left a lot to be wished. Everton were playing good and had a lot of the possession, and possession is one thing that has to be on United's side. We have to have control over the matches, and there was a lack of control in the premier. Luckily we could take advantage of the chances we got, and we managed to break Everton.

Last season United draw or lost when nobody was expecting it, and today is one of those days. Villa has never managed to win at Old Trafford, why break that record, Devils?

The visitors from Birmingham has before the season lost a bunch of for them important players such as Darius Vassell, Carlton Cole, Thomalalalalazlsperger and now got veterans like Kevin Phillips and Patrik Berger, and Stuart Taylor and Aaron Hughes.

Unfortunately, for Villa, Phillips, Berger, Martin Laursen and Mark Delaney won't be playing today. This probably means Juan Pablo Angel will be alone upfront with a five-man midfield behind him. It could also mean that Eric Djemba-Djemba could get the chance against his old club. Is this guy also going to prove Ferguson did wrong in selling him?

Compared to last year, Man U has been fairly spared from injuries of regulars in the beginning of the season. "Only" Ryan Giggs, Cristiano Ronaldo, Louis Saha and Wes Brown were the ones missing. Giggs is back in training, but shouldn't be fit enough to play. Ronaldo should be playing, although probably not from the sart. It's uncertain if Brown will be playing. He's only had 1 our of play in the reserves.
Gary Neville was substituted for an injury in England's catastrophe friendly against Denmark this week, but he should take part today.

As stated early, it's important that United keeps the control over this game, and to take advantage of the chances we get. The goalscoring has looked good lately, so that shouldn't be a problem. We should also be patient, 'cause I don't think Villa will be playing a massive attacking game today, they'll most likely try to keep an even score.

Tomorrow the other majours, Chelsea and Arsenal, meet, which means that whatever how that game ends, assuming United beats Villa, we'll be infront of atleast one of those teams. I personally hope either a draw or a win for Arsenal.

Hopefully our players won't have this in mind today, they should just focus beating Villa.

My prediction is obviously a win for Man United. It could end with the same numbers as last weekend, but I wouldn't be surprised if we win by even more. 3-0 sounds reasonable.

Go United!

I just got the confirmation that we'll start with the exact same eleven as against Everton. Ronaldo is on the bench.

Does that make you happy, or?

And yeah, that was my prediction, that's not the current score, all.

0-0 halftime.
