Saha can be class when he's fit, but then again, most stikers in top teams are amazing when theyre fit.

When he's fit he can score goals, its just a shame that we have never truly seen what he could do for United in all the time hes been there, He has got the ability but you cant rely on him now, and im afraid that its only a matter of time until even SAF loses faith in him, thats if he already hasnt, we need a striker who is more reliable, and can actually play more than 20 games a season. Who that striker is, i have no idea but hope to find out this summer.

Saha is fricken brilliant when he's fit. And by fit I don't mean "not injured", I mean match fit and in top form.

I just realised we're three days away from the Champions League final

I am scared

Why did it have to be Chelsea? I think they are one of the very few teams that can consistently beat us, their defense is solid. I was very annoyed when Liverpool didnt get through

I just hope we attack them and not play that boring 4-1-4-1, i wanna see 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 with Rooney upfront and Tevez just behind or the other way around

I agree, I thought Saha was one of United's best players in the first half of the 06/07 season...he was quite deadly, and has a great left foot finish.

Saha and rooney/tevez are totally different type of strikers

Saha is one of the best at what he does

What do we all think the score will be??

I reckon it'll either be 1-0 or something silly like 5-4.

2-1 to United. Drobga for Chelsea, Ronaldo and Scholes for United. It'll be fate if Scholesy scores

3-2 to United, obviously

Ronaldo to get 2, one from a wicked free kick and one from Tevez. Drogba and Lampard to get Chelsea's

3-0
tevez, vidic, anderson
ronaldo to be anonymous but possibly pop up with one of the goals

really annoyed to see that pique is probably going and for only 5 million. obvioulsy fergie is an incredible manager and is great in the transfer market but when we buy players we pay too much and sell players for too cheap. if we wer to buy a 21 year old from one of the top teams in europe do u think we would only pay 5 million, apparently 17 year old ramsey could cost 10 mil for god sake

Exactly like Rossi. Hot prospect for the future, play little games, move away.

I never rated Pique tbh. When he played I never thought he was good enough yet for the 1st team.

pique is highly in demand all over the world, we stole him from barca.

Saha is a great fit man when he is, but he is damn near thrity, and hamstring injuries like his never get 100 percent again, its like stretching a rubber band out way too far, it just never snaps back all the way, sure you can cut it rehab it and suture it, but he is too old for that surgery and really his best feats where his stature combined with his speed and exploxivness,a dn thats what goes first in acl/mcl injuries, your acceleration and your ability to make quick cuts.

it is a shame, but we need to seel him and turn that money round in the transfers.

Luis fabiano or Fred or another good strong and explosive forward for his role, but that still does not take care of our need for an out and out target forward a big burly 6'2 6'5 target aerial threat, thats where the money should be spent.

we forget so easily the depth we had when it was scholes and soljskjaer, cantona, cole, yorke, sherringham...

we have been light on strk for years, and i see rooney becoming the new scholes role in the next 5 years, he is already number 10, and his playmaking is amazing lately, plus he has the range to find the net from way out side.

TO ME, (sorry for caps) WE NEeD TO GO AFTER TOP CLASS STRIKER! and perhaps another wide midfielder, to help facilitate ronaldo in the middle, if we were to say buy a quaresma, or a moutinho or a barbosa or a simao, we could play ronaldo up front, with all of his skill, and his 6'2 frame and strength plus his four foot vertical leap, and his propensity to score amazing leaping flying headers.

as in such.YouTube - Ronaldo header vs Roma

he has the class and skill to be the best goal scorer of all time, and not that he is a waste on the right of the Midfield, but why would we not buy a wide player to just let him score 50 goals a season.
