It's not that, well it is that, but I posted a link, so therefore it was a bit unnecessary, and you stepped on my toes

What The Papers Say
Rooney 'not for sale at any price' Manchester United chief executive David Gill insists Wayne Rooney is not for sale at any price - even though the Glazer family's Old Trafford buy-out has landed them £500million in debt. The 18-year-old England striker is seen as the man who will carry the Red Devils' fortunes forward over the next decade. However, supporters fear any failure of the Glazers' business plan could lead to mass sales, with Rooney, a £27million purchase from Everton 12 months ago, the prize asset. Yet Gill is adamant he will not be sold, even if the bid was way over the top. "Wayne Rooney will definitely not be sold," said Gill. "We fought long and hard to get Wayne last summer and we're delighted with the purchase. In fact, there is more pressure on a publicly-quoted company than there is on a private one in situations like these. The Glazer family have experience in sports ownership. They realise success on the pitch drives what happens off it." Steve Rogers, Daily Mirror £70m no to Roon Manchester United will not sell Wayne Rooney — even if they are offered £70million. United fans fear their prize asset is to be offloaded to pay off part of the £500m the Glazers borrowed to buy the club. But chief executive David Gill has reassured supporters that no amount of money could tempt the new owners to cash in on the England strike ace. Gill said: “There is definitely no amount of money that would buy Wayne Rooney. Very few top-class footballers leave Manchester United and I do not think the Glazers would be tempted to get an instant return on their money if someone made a huge bid for him.” Staff reporter, The Sun Rio not a rebel to Gill Manchester United chief executive David Gill is backing Rio Ferdinand in his contract wrangle. Ferdinand, 26, has still not signed a £100,000-a-week deal which has been on the table for two months. But Gill said: "There is no stumbling block. We want him to stay, he wants to stay and, in my experience, when that situation prevails invariably the player stays. I don't think just because we were loyal to him means he should definitely sign the contract. It is his career and he has to make sure the financial terms are right." George Scott, Daily Star Buy Stevie G and you'll calm those fans down, Mr G If Malcolm Glazer is really serious about his ambition for Manchester United, then perhaps he can find the cash to allow Sir Alex Ferguson to sign his favourite player. Fergie reckons Steven Gerrard could be the ideal replacement for Roy Keane. So, come on Malcolm, put your money where your mouth is. Then you can really win over the fans. Staff reporter, Daily Mail Svendetta Roy Keane was last night labelled "psychotic" in an astonishing attack on English football. The verbal assault on the Manchester United skipper came from former Crystal Palace, Charlton and Norwich striker Mathias Svensson, who also targeted Patrick Vieira, William Gallas, Alan Curbishley and Alan Ball and said English managers were out of their depth. Svensson said: "Patrick Vieira is a really dirty player but he doesn't have the same psychotic personality as Keane. When you go into a 50-50 with him and you try to tap his shoulder afterwards to say sorry, he just looks at you in his crazy way. And another psychopath is Gallas at Chelsea. We have had some really tough duels and he is really dirty." Svensson's five-club tour of England, which began under Terry Venables at Portsmouth in 1996, ended last month when he left the relegated Canaries to join Swedish side Elfsborg. I doubt Liverpool is gonna let him go, they'll demand a pretty high number of money.. But we do need a replacement to Keane and Gerrard would probably be the best man for the job.
