Good evening, indeed

In all fairness, the Scousers worked their socks off for 80 minutes before they collapsed.

Still, Gained 1 point, The Scouse can now reach 12 points behind us

So you wouldn't be jumping about getting a win over your greatest rivals? Yes, we wont win the league after it but beating Liverpool means a great deal. If I was a poll supporter I'd be gutted right now.

Completely [removed by prem - swearing] off, we were the better team. Rooney the fat animal lunge was derserving of a red card. If it was any of our players it would of been a red. You can harp on about me being biased but I'm not. Mike Riley has gave Man U 8 pens at Old Trafford in this tie.

Oh, and how nice of the Cockney glory hunters to sing "Murrrrderrrrers". Glad our fans had more class than them. We could of easilly started singing about Munich.

If were getting picky about cards, then Gerrard should have had a yellow when he swiped at rooney from behind. Just enjoy the result, remember, its the final result that matters, not the better performance

i am a massive reds fan and can admit it hasnt hurt at all that lost

end of the day if it was top vs 2nd i'd have been gutted if lost , but its chelsea's league again so the defeat means nothing

also we have champions league football to look forward to who have man utd got?

We've got a rest

But it's always good to get automatic qualification rather than have to qualify

who's talkin 'bout whom it hurt? i dont really care if Scousers feel hurt or not; i'm jst glad we won.....

as 4 Rooney's tackle: "oh suuuure, send him off, send him off" (*ah-hem* - sarcasm)

that wasnt a red-card tackle......Rooney wasnt the last man, and he stil did hav intent 4 the ball, but applied 2 much force and got sum into Sinama-Pongolle as well. He wasnt intending 2 hurt him (unlike Ronaldo last week, as most say).
