To be fair, we completely trashed Albion today. They never had a chance and didn't give VdS anything to work for.

For me the man of the match was either Rio or Ji-Sung.

Naha, not for eg Ruud van Nistelrooy.. Or any other forward. But Rio is a defender, and the goals he has scored recently are the only goals he has scored for us.

And to think... all you Man U fans were writing the team off. In other news Wolves lost.

We weren't writing them off so much as showing our disgust at some of the whole teams and individual player performances

Luckily everyone seems to be pulling their own weight atm

I've never shown any sort of disgust to any of our players. But you others should be ashamed of yourself.

The form we're in won't last for eternity anyway. Every team goes into bad shape once in a while. Us United supporters should be the least to moan about it imo, overall the last 15 years we've been absolutely great. By that I don't mean we shouldn't ask for more glory in the future though.

Oh well, game against the Craps from Crappingham (joking Taters ....................... A bit ). The Brummies might shock us though - wouldn't that be typical.

Fabio Capello has revealed his desire to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. Capello is happy in Italy with Juventus but has been widely tipped as one of the leading candidates to take control at Old Trafford. He said: "To be a coach of Manchester United would be a dream come true. It would be the same for any manager but I have not had any offers from the directors of Manchester United."

Gavin Glicksman, The Sun

Treble Glazing
Rio Ferdinand last night targeted a unique domestic treble as Manchester United emerge from the trauma of their Champions League exit. The £30million centre-back insists that United can claw their way back to Premiership parity with runaway leaders Chelsea, and triumph in the FA Cup and Carling Cup.
David McDonnell, Daily Mirror

Silvestre Shopped
Mikael Silvestre is heading for the exit door at Manchester United following a bust-up over Christmas shopping. The French defender was furious at being ordered into training from London, where he was planning to buy presents.
Neil Custis, The Sun

Price Not Right For Vidic
Bungling Manchester United paid £2.4million over the odds to sign defender Nemanj a Vidic. Vidic had a clause in his contract with Spartak Moscow stating that he could leave if a club bid £4.8m for him - United paid £7.2m. They were so concerned that Vidic was heading for Italian club Fiorentina, they upped their offer at the last minute.
David McDonnell, Daily Mirror

Boxing Day Round-Up
The Daily Star reckons United have targeted Tottenham's Michael Carrick as their new midfield enforcer. The tabloid believes Fergie plans to make a move for the 24-year-old either in January or in the summer after the World Cup.

Round-up by Gemma Thompson.
Capello is with no doubt one of the best managers in the world. If him taking over after Sir Alex means that he would bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic, I wouldn't mind him as the replacement.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I want Silvestre to stay. I think he is a better defender than most claim him to be. He often get unjustified bad criticism.

As for Carrick, he's a good player and he might suit our style of play. But I'm not so sure.

Default manchester united's possible endgame

Chelsea seems to lose its edge... thats what i thought on the 3-2 game vs. fulham... Man U has chance for title.

No way, even if we do have a bad game we still get through it.

Hope Brum score 5 goals in the first half... put Man Utd out there misery.
