If I ever buy another ManU jersey it will be after AIG are no longer sponsors. It's too awkward walking around in the USA with AIG on your shirt.

Its because if they cant get you on something they will just say "you support the scouse, your scum"

its really just them admitting defeat

YouTube - Hilarious Interview With Patrice Evra & Park Ji Sung!

I'm glad they're not lonely without Tevez around.

As a player I'm not sure he's worth those wages, but as an icon in Asia, he's a bargain.

I suppose Parky will be first choice on the right wing though unless Hargreaves gets back to full fitness or Valencia starts playing well or if Fabio or Tosic break through.

i think Tevez joined City because he didn't want to leave Evra and Park...

anyways 60k is not too bad for Park, he deserves a wage rise anyway, so i think around 15k is for his pulling power in asia and 45k based on how good he is.

imo i don't think United need to spend the 60m, you can always save it and use it when the time is right, atm the time is not right, there is no one around in the market that is at a good price. City and Madrid is over inflating the market.

So why bother? let them settle with their teams than we can buy afterwards. A bit like a few years back when Chelsea over inflated the market, we stood back bought youngsters instead, because the big time players were all overpriced thanks to chelsea.

Yeah i think that's one of the main reasons and because his wife and daughters were happy and settled in Manchester...you can't blame him for going to City.

David Gill should of put in place the "26+ transfer cap" last summer...

Quote:
Manchester United chief David Gill has confirmed reports the club will not spend big on players over 26 years of age.

Gill told the Daily Mail: "We are not in the market for 27, 28 or 29-year-olds for loads of money.

"It doesn't make sense. We are not interested.
